New Year's wreath of balloons. DIY New Year's wreath of cones: step-by-step master classes, photos, decoration. Wreath on the door of pine cones and balls

The most fabulous and favorite holiday of children is approaching - New Year. On holidays, streets and houses turn into a fairy tale, everything around shines and shimmers, and on the shelves of shops there is an abundance of New Year's decorative elements, which delights not only children, even adults do not remain indifferent.
The whole family prepares for this holiday in advance. To create in an apartment-house festive atmosphere, we are trying to decorate our home with New Year's attributes. Nowadays, Christmas wreaths are very popular.

The tradition of decorating a house with a Christmas wreath came to us from Western countries, this christmas decor I also liked it, and we began to adopt the tradition of decorating the door with such an elegant festive wreath.

Naturally, there are a great many options for a Christmas wreath on sale, as they say, for every taste and color. But the wreath self made made together with the child is not just a New Year's attribute, it is a kind of amulet for your family hearth.

Making such a wreath is not difficult, the most important thing is your desire, good mood and the materials that you have at your fingertips. Also, materials for such a product can be purchased in specialized hand-made stores. In such shops you can buy a ready-made base for a wreath. It is worth such a pleasure from 80 UAH and higher - it all depends on the size of the base and the materials from which this base is made. And what a variety of decorations there is, in general, be patient, and most importantly - prepare financially for such a campaign.

The base for the wreath

A Christmas wreath consists of decorations and a base to which they are attached. Hanging wreaths are usually made of lightweight material. The basis for the wreath can be twigs, grapevine, a rim from a baby wheel, straw. A piece of hose, thick cardboard, or, say, a piece of wire will also work. Twigs, vines can be painted in any color, or they can be left natural. A piece of hose can be wrapped with a cloth or thread and dyed too. In general, your imagination will be useful to you. If there is no desire to puzzle over what and how, then the Internet will help you: find a suitable master class there and create.

Party Wreath Decorating Ideas

When the base is ready, you can start decorating the wreath. There are a lot of ideas for this action, as they say, there would be a desire.
A traditional wreath should include three colors: green (symbolizes hope), red (love), white (light spiritual qualities).
If you and your baby prefer blue or pale purple, feel free to experiment: tradition is good, but you should like the product.

On the base you have prepared, you can attach cones, pine branches, thuja with a glue gun, but it is better not to use a spruce in the manufacture of such a product, because the spruce quickly crumbles. You can also add here walnuts... To make your wreath shine, you can pre-paint cones, nuts or acorns with gold or silver spray paint - and a mysterious flicker will be provided.

They look very original and have even very nice smell New Year's wreaths of citruses, cones, nuts, cinnamon sticks and rowan twigs.
You can decorate such a wreath with whatever your imagination tells you: tangerines, apples, dried flowers, decorative braid, etc.

If you have not stocked up on natural materials, it does not matter, you can make new year wreath from atlac or packing straps. To do this, it is necessary to cut the tapes into equal lengths, for example, 6 cm in length, fold in half, and alternately glue to the prepared base with an overlap in relation to each other. You will get a very elegant and original wreath, and a drop of citrus aromatic mala on a fabric festive wreath will fill your home with New Year's mood.

Very delicate and airy, like snow, you get a tulle wreath. And those with a sweet tooth will love the New Year's wreath of sweets.

You can also make a wreath that will become a decoration for more than one holiday. To do this, you need artificial spruce branches, which can also be purchased in specialized stores, the prices, however, for such products are rather big - one branch from UAH 30 and higher. The branches need to be decorated with New Year's balls, which, by the way, can be changed for the next New Year for other decorations. And if we weave an electric garland into the wreath, it will be especially effective.

Festive wreaths look great only from Christmas balls. The balls must be glued to the base and to each other with a glue gun. At the end, the product can be complemented with a beautiful bow.

On the Web, you can find a master class on how to make a wreath from threads. So, you will need thick woolen threads. It is necessary to wrap the base of the wreath with them very tightly, thread to thread, in several layers. Such a festive wreath can be decorated with Christmas-tree felt flowers or felt figures - whatever your imagination tells you.

By the same principle as a simple wreath, you can make a snowman. Only you will need to make base rings of different diameters (head, middle and lower parts of the snowman). These rings can be stapled together with a glue gun or joined with a string. And you can decorate the snowman at your discretion, for example, knitted hat, a scarf or just a hat. Such a snowman will look great on the front door of your house or decorate the wall of a children's room - the child certainly will not mind such a New Year's decoration.

Of course, you can buy a ready-made Christmas wreath, but a wreath made with your child carries the warmth of your hands, you put your soul into a handmade product, so such a Christmas wreath will have a special New Year's magic. We all, both children and adults, believe and hope for a miracle.
Wish you creative success and magical inspiration!

Home decoration for New Year and Christmas is a pleasant and joyful tradition. And one of the signs of the upcoming holidays is the Christmas wreath. Its history is quite long - I think we are for this interesting topic will be back. And today, since there is not so much time left before the New Year's celebrations, I propose to talk about the practical side of the issue: how to make a Christmas wreath with your own hands.

Christmas wreath is a traditional element of festive decor

Moreover, it is not at all difficult, and what is at hand can serve as a material. And if it is difficult to dwell on one idea, let's make several different decorations - for the house, for a summer residence, as a gift to friends ...

One of the most simple options: needles and balls, silver and gold - nothing else, but it looks great. To prevent the composition from looking monotonous, it is better to take different balls - matte and shiny, small and larger. They can be purchased immediately as a set, or you can rummage through your home supplies and assemble a stylish decoration from scattered Christmas tree decorations.

Here, perhaps, it is worth making a small digression. Because ideas are ideas, but as soon as we make an attempt to implement any of them, the question immediately arises: how can all this be fastened together? A foundation will be required, on which then, in accordance with the creative idea, we will collect the wreath. Therefore, I propose to watch a master class in which it is described and shown in detail, from what and how you can make a blank for future decoration... As many as 3 ways - there are plenty to choose from:

There are other options for bases - made of cardboard, foam, straw. About them - a little further, but for now let's get back to the ideas ...

Color creates mood. Silver, blue - "Cold" paints are the best match for the winter mood... So why not use them in your Christmas decor? For such a wreath, twigs of blue spruce are suitable, or better - artificial needles of suitable shades. You can complement the design by sprinkling the needles with "snow" from a spray can.

The decor in cold tones perfectly matches the winter mood

If there are no suitable coniferous branches, you can replace them with silver tinsel. Or use natural materials covering them suitable paint and sparkles and adding Christmas decorations - as in the following video:

Do you want something more "warm", sunny? Let's mix the paints! Elegant a mix of green and silver twigs, decorated with pine cones and "golden" toys looks noble and elegant. True, it will be somewhat more difficult to embody this idea, for all its external simplicity. It is important here that the golden decor does not compete with the original texture of the two-tone coniferous base, and the composition as a whole does not turn out to be too variegated and chaotic. Search harmonious combinations- a challenge for a real artist.

A subtle mix of green and silver twigs, complemented by warm golden details

In general, a very good idea - combination of different textures and shades of greenery... Take a look at how fresh and interesting the leaves look against the background of the needles, and the golden twigs of thuja among the silvery-green spruce needles enliven the composition. But of course it would be unfinished without the bright red berry accent.

Bright and elegant Christmas wreath with poinsettia

By the way, you can even build a whole Christmas tree from this plant -!

Christmas the wreath does not have to be coniferous... Using flexible branches of trees and shrubs (most often willows), straw, shoots of evergreens and similar materials, it is easy to create an original decoration for your home or garden. And the "gold" or "silver" paint applied to the woven base and individual decorative elements completely transforms the original material.

Even a completely inexperienced craftswoman can make a beautiful Christmas wreath from natural materials , which you can easily find in the country. And it will take a little time (which is also important in the pre-holiday bustle and hassle, you must agree). An interesting option such a wreath with detailed instructions for its manufacture you will find in the publication.

Looks unusual a wreath of fir cones... If you wish, you can add berries, an elegant bow or other decorative elements to the composition. Some of the cones can be painted using paints in aerosol cans, or artificial "snow" can be added, but in a natural, natural version, the wreath turns out to be quite interesting. True, a lot of cones will be required, but if there is a forest near your summer cottage, there will be no problems with the material for the craft.

If you get carried away with this idea, see also: Blotches bright scarlet berries(for example, in our conditions - mountain ash or viburnum, wild rose or hawthorn) revive the restrained composition of "natural" shades. But keep in mind: if you plan to hang such a wreath on the front door of your house or decorate the gate with it, make it an element of garden decor, feathered guests can significantly change your initial idea.

Splashes of scarlet berries enliven the restrained composition of natural shades

But in this bright wreath berries are the main element... Traditionally, they are used for Christmas decor, but this is difficult for us. Juicy viburnum at home will quickly lose its attractiveness, and birds have already pecked rowan in many gardens, so to implement such an idea, you will have to do with imitation of berry bunches, which you can make from red beads of different sizes.

And in this bright wreath, berries are the main element

In the end, you can remove all the "superfluous" and leave only branches with berries (or their imitation)... Look at how original such a wreath looks - a little "disheveled", asymmetrical, but surprisingly attractive:

An original wreath of twigs with berries - a little disheveled, but attractive

Christmas balls are usually seen as an addition to the decor - but you can look at them differently! How do you like the idea a Christmas wreath made from just balls? Matte and shiny, of different sizes, different shades of red (and if you want, then blue or green, gold or silver) - together they make up an unusual, but very elegant decoration.

If a monochromatic wreath seems boring to you, make it variegated, multi-colored... An idea like this would work fine. Only in this case, choose shatterproof balls so that the baby does not get hurt, even if the festive wreath accidentally falls (parents know: such "accidents" are common when there is a nimble toddler in the house).

How to make a practical and safe option - wreath with sisal balls, shown in detail and described in the following master class:

As a matter of fact, a Christmas wreath can be made from almost anything... Any natural materials, scattered beads and all kinds of jewelry, tinsel and Christmas decorations- all this and much more can be easily turned into an unusual decoration, you just have to show your imagination.

If there were no natural materials at hand, but it is frosty outside the window, and all the paths are covered with snow, try to make festive wreaths of Christmas tree tinsel, Christmas balls and satin ribbons ... As a basis, cardboard (from a regular box, for example) or polystyrene is suitable. Having looked detailed master class, presented in the next video, even a schoolboy can cope with the task.

But idea for craftswomen-needlewomen: Take scraps of bright fabrics or skeins of yarn, big pretty buttons, fancy braid, ribbons - these are all excellent materials for creativity. How to arrange them, how to make a Christmas decoration - let your imagination tell you. For example, it might look like this:

Handicraft lovers can make Christmas wreaths from yarn, buttons and shreds

Fans minimalism they will surely appreciate this idea - this wreath is simple, laconic, but at the same time it looks elegant and touching. All the "salt" is in a fancy interweaving of twigs, which is effective in itself, without any additions. But again, if you wish, you can develop an idea: for example, "ennoble" the material with the help of paint ...

By the way, if you like minimalism, do not pass by the article.

Great holiday option- a wreath in which it is woven electric garland... It will be especially effective if used in outdoor decor: hang it on the front door, wall of a house, gate, decorate a winter gazebo in the garden, and so on.

The wreath in which the electric garland is woven looks great

Reflecting in shiny balls and tinsel, the lights of the garland create an extraordinary, fabulous mood. Just do not forget: you need to place this decoration there, where it is possible to safely connect the garland to the electrical network... And it is better to think in advance about how to hide the cord going to the outlet, so as not to destroy the New Year's magic with such "household trifles."

Flickering lights of the garland create a New Year mood

And one more thing to consider: not every electric garland is suitable for outdoor use. This is a safety issue, so do not neglect these nuances.

Finally, you can weave cinnamon sticks, anise stars, small tangerines and others into the needles fragrant fruits, spices or even flowers- you will get not only a beautiful, but also a fragrant Christmas decoration. Odors can be easily intensified if suitable essential oils... Just do not overdo it so that some of the guests do not have a headache from the fragrance.

You can make the decoration not only beautiful, but also fragrant.

You are probably already convinced: the number of ideas is infinite, and a beautiful New Year's wreath can be made with your own hands from any available material... Here's another example:.

If the creative process has already captivated you, and you want to make as many different decorations as possible - for your home and as gifts to friends - watch the following video and be inspired by vivid examples:

And if you like the idea as a whole, but confuse the form - interesting you will find an alternative to wreaths in the publications:

How to use a Christmas wreath in your holiday decor

Well, now that the Christmas wreath is ready (and maybe not even one!), You need to find a suitable place for it. The traditional option is hang jewelry on or above the front door... You can supplement it with small Christmas trees on both sides of the porch, garlands of coniferous branches or compositions similar in style and design to a wreath

The traditional option is to hang a wreath on or above the front door.

You look, and on a ski trip in new year holidays rather get ready.

Even ordinary skis can become part of the New Year's interior of the summer cottage.

A wreath can serve beautiful candlestick... Just do not forget about fire safety: the candles must be securely fastened so that they do not fall in any case, and the decor elements must be placed away from the fire. And of course, you shouldn't wait for the candles to burn out completely - the risk is too great that the resinous twigs will flare up from the approaching flame.

A Christmas wreath can be a beautiful candlestick

By the way, it is with this, they say, that the the story of the christmas wreath, invented by the Lutheran Johann Hinrich Wichern. His wreath was decorated with candles (24 small red candles and 4 large white ones) and helped Vihern's pupils count the days until Christmas: one red candle was lit each day of Advent (pre-Christmas period), adding one white one on Sunday. Over time, only 4 large candles remained from the original version, (in the Catholic tradition - not white, but colored: 1 pink and 3 purple), one for every Sunday of Advent. Well, this beautiful tradition came to us and remained just an element of the festive decoration of the house.

And the wreath can also become an unusual gift and even declaration of love... Why not? New Year and Christmas is a great time for romance and happiness. And if there are not enough words to express your feelings, try to express them in a festive decor.

It is fair to add that the idea of decorating a house with a Christmas wreath is not to everyone's taste. Still, this tradition is not ours, but borrowed, and for some it does not evoke the most positive associations. But is this really a problem? After all, there are so many ideas for creativity! Take a look at our New Year's review - for sure there is something that you like:.

How is it done or a small master class

Almost any wreath can be made with your own hands from improvised means. It is good to cut the base out of cardboard, plywood or dense foam - it is important that the parts are attached to the base material with glue, small nails or pins.

We offer schematic manufacturing instructions original jewelry, to help - step by step photos... The first two steps, as you can see in the photo, are the same for any decor option.

Preparatory stage

  1. The foundation. The size of the future product depends on where it will be located - on the front door outside, on a window, in a showcase, on a table or on a living room wall. Using a compass or ordinary plates, draw 2 concentric circles at a distance of about 10 cm from each other. Cut out the ring.
  2. On the back side a loop of twine or thin wire should be attached to fix it on the door, window.

Warmth of textiles

Wrap the prepared base around the ring with a satin or velvet ribbon, braid, rope or thread - the wreath is ready! Examples are in the photo. All that remains is to add Christmas touches - an impromptu candle, fir paws, bows and other decorations.

Balls of multi-colored wool, knitting fragments, demonstratively pinned to the ring with knitting needles, look wonderful. A kind of symbol of the hearth.

Gifts from the squirrel

Nuts are a wonderful material for making new year decorations... Use a glue gun to attach them to the circle.

Colored burlap

  1. Fine, textured pliable material - burlap, cut into squares with a side of 15 - 20 cm.
  2. Fold each square in half with a triangle, then pull the long ends to the central corner (connect the sharp corners with the straight ones). It turns out a square with a depression.
  3. With small studs or pins, we attach the free edge of the square to the base, braided with straw or twine, overlap the next, gradually filling the surface of the ring.

An unusual wreath with soft corners can be decorated with bows, small cones, sweets or Christmas balls, leaves cut from the same burlap, spruce twigs, placing them in any order.

  2. We attach each triangle with a pin to the foam template, as shown in the photo, then, as close as possible to the first second, third, and so on, until the entire surface of the base ring is hidden under an impromptu snow layer.
  3. Decorate the snow circle with a bright red bow, one or four (imitating 4 candles).

Unusual material

The original material is a chimney. It is enough to bend a shiny, neat, uniform chimney along the entire length with a ring, and mask the junction beautiful ribbon, New Year's "rain".

Christmas decorations

As a base, you can use a wire ram - a clothes hanger. Leave the hook intact to secure the masterpiece. Bend the rest of the wire and bend it again, now in the form of a ring, and then hook the very tip onto our hook.

It is important to use high-quality glue and strong wire and secure the finished decoration well, as it will come out quite heavy. Choose for the New Year's wreath those Christmas balls that you like best and you will get an unsurpassed result!

Below is a detailed master class on how to make a New Year's wreath for decorating walls, doors and a banquet table with your own hands. Such a wreath of Christmas balls can become a candle holder, a frame for a New Year's dish. Everything will depend only on your imagination.

The first option for creating a wreath from Christmas balls

Such a wreath can be created in two ways, first we will demonstrate the simplest option.

To create a Christmas wreath, you will need:

Multicolored Christmas balls(it is advisable to use balls of various sizes);

Dense wire for the base;

Glue gun;

Bright satin ribbon.

Christmas wreath of Christmas balls step by step:

First of all, take a wire and give it the desired shape. Then you can start stringing Christmas balls. On a wreath with a diameter of about 28 cm you will need about 56 toys of different diameters.

So, remove the “cap” from the ball and put it on the wire. Thus, put on the rest in a different order. As soon as you put on all the “caps” from the balls, treat the joint with hot glue and glue. You can, of course, first glue, and then put the balls on the wire.

When there are enough Christmas balls for a wreath, fasten the ends of the wire together and decorate the place where they join with a bright satin ribbon.

The second option for creating a wreath of Christmas balls

The second option consists in randomly gluing balls to a round base (foam or made of thick cardboard). This option differs in that the "caps" of the balls will look in different directions. However, this is the least reliable option.

If in the previous article dedicated to the new year, we talked about that, then today's issue will be devoted to the manufacture new year wreaths... Today I invite you to get acquainted with 7 different master classes on this topic.

I assure you that you will be surprised how easy and simple it is to make a wreath for the new year yourself, rather than buying ready-made and expensive ones in the store. In addition to the fact that you will save, you will also spend a couple of hours with your children doing this activity (of course, if there are any). In any case, you will be pleased at least from the fact that you made this beauty yourself.

The most interesting thing is that you can use anything to make a wreath, the main thing is that there is fantasy and a little imagination. In this article, we will consider the most common options for New Year's (Christmas) attributes.

But, as far as I know, this is far from all, and not even half, but some small part of all the options for making this symbol of the new year that exist. But the point is not this, but that we should learn how to make the simplest wreaths. And then, if you like it and everything will work out, you can already fantasize and experiment with inventions of new types, which will please yourself and your loved ones.

Well, now, let's start our review already.

DIY New Year's wreath of newspaper tubes

The first option is more likely not a wreath, but a base for it. That is, I want to first show you how you can make a good and reliable ring with your own hands, which will serve you for more than one year. Now they sell ready-made foundations for wreaths in stores, but their cost is far from small.

That is why it is better to do it yourself, especially since it is not so difficult. A little effort will have to be made, of course, but the result is worth it. We will use newspaper tubes as material. You can easily find how to make and color them on the Internet.

And here we will deal with the question of how to make a wreath, that is, the basis for a wreath from newspaper tubes. Since the manufacturing process is quite difficult and dreary to describe step by step, and besides, you can get confused, then I suggest you take a look small video, in which everything is described in detail, shown and told. Happy viewing!

I hope that you have understood everything and that you have no questions left on this topic. Now let's continue with the main topic.

We make wreaths from pine cones with our own hands

For this version of the New Year's wreath, any cones, any trees will suit us. If you do not have pine trees, then you can safely take into account others. This will not make the look worse, or maybe even better.

In this version, we will make artificial Christmas tree branches out of paper. If you do not want to mess around for a long time, then it is quite possible to get by with the purchased ones.

We need:

  • bumps
  • cardboard
  • baking paper (newspaper)
  • A4 paper
  • acrylic paint (green)
  • copper wire
  • Super glue
  • ribbon and beads for decoration

How to do:

1. From cardboard we cut out a "donut" of any size that you like. To do this, draw circles on the cardboard and cut it out.

2. To the resulting frame, using adhesive tape, glue baking paper or an old newspaper.

Before gluing, the paper needs to be crumpled well so that it becomes voluminous.

3. It turns out such a blank, as in the photo below.

4. Now paint the A4 sheet in green color on both sides and let dry.

5. After that, cut it into strips 3-4 cm wide and proceed to the next step.

6. From the stripes we need to make a fringe. To do this, we fold the colored stripes in several layers and make frequent cuts, about 2/3 of the width.

7. Carefully open it so that the workpiece does not break.

9. We put it on a paper fringe and begin to wrap the wire in paper, gradually going down.

10. Fluff it up a little and get just such a twig.

11. Having made several such branches, you can collect larger branches by connecting them together.

12. Now we glue the cones with the resulting Christmas tree branches to the base of the wreath.

For beauty, several cones can be painted red, as we did.

13. Decorate the finished wreath with beads and tie a ribbon.

That's all! Ready. As you can see, everything is pretty easy and simple. And in the end, we got such a beautiful, festive wreath for the New Year and Christmas.

Burlap wreaths and wine corks

The wreath that I want to offer you now will look very good in the kitchen. In addition to corks and burlap, we will use bay leaves, allspice, cinnamon rolls and various nuts. As a result, you will get a very fragrant wreath that will fill your kitchen with its aroma.

How to do:

1. To begin with, as always, let's make a base. You can make it from an ordinary newspaper, twisting which, you need to connect the ends with glue or paper tape. You can also use the first option described in this article.

2. We wrap the workpiece with burlap or decorative mesh, as in our case. With a glue gun, glue it to the base of the wreath.

3. Now it's time for wine corks. We glue the future wreath with them around the entire perimeter.

4. Let's make a loop out of a ribbon or some kind of rope. It must also be glued with a glue gun, and wrap the free ends over the entire surface of the workpiece.

5. Decorate the wreath with nuts (almonds or walnuts), planting them on glue.

The more nuts, cinnamon and lavrushka there are, the more festive and beautiful the finished product will look.

6. Next are cinnamon sticks.

7. Laurel leaves and allspice peas will complete our composition.

Ready. How do you like this idea?

We need:

  • green beads
  • copper wire
  • aluminum wire (noodles)
  • ribbon
  • beads
  • glue gun

How to do:

1. First of all, we need to weave Christmas tree branches from beads. To do this, we put as many beads as possible on the copper wire.

2. We count the beads, in an amount of about 12-15 pieces and make a loop.

3. Twist the wire 3-4 turns.

4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until we have made the required length.

5. Now we wrap the aluminum wire with green tape and glue the end with a glue gun.

6. We wind the beaded "needles" on this wire in a circle.

7. We connect both ends of the wire, giving round shape... We wrap the joint with red tape and glue it.

A very beautiful and bright wreath can be made from balls with which we usually decorate a Christmas tree. This is a very simple and fast way. But the result is simply stunning. A few balls, Christmas tree tinsel, cardboard base and glue - that's all we need. And of course, a good mood and a confident attitude.

We need:

  • cardboard base (bagel)
  • Christmas balls
  • tinsel
  • ribbon

How to do:

1. We distribute the balls on the cardboard base and glue them with glue.

Leave a small gap between the balls so that you can decorate the wreath with tinsel.

2. Wrap tinsel around the wreath.

3. Glue the ribbon bow.

4. You can hang a couple of balls to the finished wreath.

It takes very little time for this creativity, but it turns out very beautifully.
