You can make a piece of summer with your own hands from a wide variety of materials and needlework techniques. This article will consider how, using the now popular type of creativity, namely kanzashi, to make a sunflower from satin ribbons.

Three green sections of ten centimeters each will be used to make foliage, respectively.

Take one of the blanks and fold them with your own hands, while forming a right angle. Please note that you have even gaps from the borders to the corners.

After that, take the end of the tape at the bottom and fold it towards the top. Thus, the tips should match. As a result, you will get an element in the shape of a small house. Fold it in half. In this case, the front side should be inside. Unscrew the folds on both sides with your own hands and solder the petal along the bottom, using a lighter for this purpose. Based on the described method, using the presented photo and video examples, you will need to make all the remaining petals.

At the next stage, the master class (MC) starts making sunflower foliage. Prepare pieces of green satin ribbons. They must be folded in half, so that the front side is inside. Next, with the help of scissors, you need to cut off the edge diagonally and melt it with the flame of a lighter, match or candle. Also, a soldering iron and a burner do an excellent job with this kind of work. In addition, it allows you to immediately cut and solder the desired element. Of course, it is worth purchasing such devices if you decide to seriously engage in kanzashi technology, because they greatly facilitate and speed up the process of creating one or another product with your own hands.

So, we need to do the following: cut off the corner and turn out the petal. You can do this by looking at the photo.

We get the next leaf, as in the photo. How many similar parts to make for a sunflower is up to you. This master class (MC) uses three such elements.

When all the color blanks are done, we proceed to create the base. Take felt material and cut a circle out of it that is four to five centimeters in diameter.

This sunflower can become a central element attached to an elastic band, hairpin or headband. For example, deciding to make an elastic band, you just need to fix it with glue and fasten it with a narrow piece of tape in the middle. If you will use this product like an ordinary flower, fix the petals on the prepared base.

We begin the stage of assembling the flower. The first two rows make up blanks of seven and nine centimeter segments. They are attached with glue along a felt circle. All petals of the second row are arranged in a staggered manner. In the third row, there are pieces created from 5.5 cm tape, which are also glued among the petals of the second row.

The master class is moving towards its completion, and it remains for us to make a core of a dark narrow satin ribbon for our sunflower. Take a seventy centimeter tape and baste it with thread in the center. Now pull off the thread. In this way, we get the base for the middle. We make a spiral circle out of it with our own hands and fix it with glue in the center of the sunflower. Add foliage under the flower.

Alternatively, you can add additional decor for such a sunflower, showing your imagination. It can be ladybugs, interesting buttons, beads, beads and other decorative items.

Taking this MK as a basis, you can independently craft a sunflower of different sizes, creating more or less petals.

I present to your attention a master class on making a sunflower flower using technique"kanzashi".

For this we need:

Satin ribbon 2.5 cm wide yellow and green colors;

Satin ribbon 0.5 - 0.6 cm wide black colors;

Ruler;

Scissors;

Glue gun;

Felt for the base flower.

Cut the ribbon yellow colors for 7 cm segments... - 18 pcs. and 5.5 cm. - 9 pcs. (for one flower) ... Ribbon green colors for 10 cm segments... - 3 pcs.

Fold the segment in the middle at a right angle, so that there is the same distance from the edges to the corner.

Then we bend the lower end of the segment to the upper so that their ends coincide (should make a house).

Fold in half, right side inward.

Then turn the folds back on one side and on the other.

Solder the petal from below with a lighter.

The petal is ready. This is how we make all the petals.

Making leaves. Take a piece of green colors, fold in half with the front side inward.

Cut it off diagonally and singe the edge with a lighter so that it sticks together (can be immediately cut off with a soldering iron or burner).

Cut off the corner as in the photo and turn the petal inside out.

We use such a leaf.

Cut out a circle with a diameter of 4 - 4.5 cm from felt (this will be the basis of our flower) .

If it is an elastic band for hair, then glue the elastic band and additionally secure it with a narrow tape in the center, and if it is simple flower on the craft, then glue the petals directly onto the base.

We collect flower:

1 and 2 rows with glue petals from 7 cm segments, 9 petals in one row. The second row is staggered relative to the first.

3 row - petals from 5.5 cm segments, with glue between the petals of the second row.

We form a circle, twisting it with a spiral and glue it in the middle flower.

We glue to our flower leaves.

There are many ways to make topiary from sunflowers. The most beautiful flowers are obtained from satin ribbons. The attractive sheen of the smooth fabric makes the bright sunflower literally emit light like a little sun. Such a souvenir can truly warm the heart of the master or the one to whom it will be presented. But making petals with your own hands is a rather painstaking work, and you need to approach it with special care. Only then will the result be great.

DIY sunflowers

To create a flower you need:

• roasted coffee beans;
• satin ribbons (yellow and green);
• wire, stick;
• computer disk or foam ball;
• candle or lighter;
• scissors;
• tweezers;
• instant glue.

Beads, figurines are suitable for decorating a flower ladybirds, butterflies or other insects. Topiary can be made in the form of a single flower, but several sunflowers of different sizes will look much more interesting.

He will tell you how to make a flower based on a computer disk step-by-step instruction:

1. Cut the yellow tape 5 cm wide into 6 cm long pieces. You will need about 40 such parts.
2. Fold one end of the strip in half and cut a piece of fabric at an angle of approximately 45 °.
3. Holding the slices with your fingers, burn the edges over the candle fire. Squeeze the melted edge with tweezers so that the slices are securely connected.
4. At the opposite end, visually mark the middle of the cut. To this point, neatly fold the halves of the tape, making folds on each. In this case, one of the folds should be aligned with the edge of the tape, and the other with the fold of the second half. The cut remains straight. In general, the whole structure looks like a bow fold.
5. Burn and squeeze the cut with tweezers. The petal will turn out like this. Make a lot of petals and glue them along the edge of the disc in 2 rows, overlapping the gaps between the lower ones with the upper parts.
6. WITH back side insert a stick for the stem into the hole of the disc. A piece of a branch must be wrapped with green tape, inserting leaves between the turns. For reliability, grease the junction of the stem with the disc with glue.
7. Make sepals and leaves from the green ribbon. To do this, the tape must be cut into pieces 11 cm long. Fold the segment in half so that one part is perpendicular to the other. Wrap the end, which is on top, away from you, aligning the edges with the edges, and the cut with the cut.
8. Lay folds on the cut sides. While holding, melt the cut, pinch it with tweezers. Stick on the disc from the side where there are no petals. Sepals need to fill the entire lower surface of the disc, slightly releasing them over the edges and hiding the place where the stem is attached, as shown in the photo.
9. Fill the empty space between the yellow petals with coffee beans. They will have to be glued in several layers to hide the surface of the disc and form a small bulge, like a real flower.

After the upper part of the topiary is made, you need to prepare a flower stand. For this purpose, a beautiful pot, vase or other container is suitable. A plaster or alabaster solution is often used to fix the flower in the container. These compounds quickly solidify and form a solid and rather heavy monolithic mass. The stem of the flower is well kept in it. Gypsum diluted with water, you just need to fill in 2/3 of the volume of the selected container and install the stem of the sunflower in it.

Once the plaster has set, the pot can be filled with coffee beans, artificial moss or grass, sisal, or ribbons. Decorate to your liking.

Other ways to create a sunflower

When making a souvenir with your own hands, you can always find options. Instead of a disc, you can use a foam ball. To make the sunflower flower look like a real one, the ball needs to be cut in half. In this case, we fix the stalk in the center of the flat side.

The petals can be folded in the same way as described for making sepals in the previous version. You need to glue the petals from the lower side of the hemisphere, you can make 1 or 2 rows of yellow elements. After that, decorate the rest of the space with green sepals.

Fantasy sunflower, made in a different technique. For the base of the flower, a foam ball is used here, completely pasted over with coffee beans. The petals and braid of the stem are made of gold-colored ribbon. The wire can be easily bent, giving the stem with your own hands the most bizarre shape.

For the petals, you need to cut the squares from the ribbon. If its width is 5 cm, then the length of each segment should be the same. Collapse the square diagonally, then again, aligning all the slices. Fold the triangle in half so that the sharp corners coincide. Make a slice as in the photo.

Melt it over the candle and pinch it with tweezers, passing one of its sponges between the layers of fabric. This will create a neat flat seam, and the petal will be voluminous. The lower corner (where the tape cuts) must be cut with scissors parallel to the upper, front edge. Refuse the slices, but do not join them. Decorate the coffee ball and stem with ready-made petals. You can arrange them arbitrarily. Glue a coffee bean or bead inside each element.

First you need to make blanks for the petals. Carefulness is important in the work, the petals should turn out to be even, neat and the same. A yellow tape about 5 cm wide is cut into 6 cm pieces, folded in half, a corner is cut off and the cut is glued with a lighter. After that, the workpiece is rolled up with a cone and again sealed with a lighter flame. In a similar way, petals are made from a green ribbon, only the blanks should be larger, 10 cm in length. To create a sunflower, you will need a lot of petals, it is better to make them with a margin.

Yellow petals are glued along the edge of the disc. The distance from the edge is no more than 1 cm. The petals are attached evenly, next to each other, with the wide end outward. The second row is glued in a checkerboard pattern. It is important that no glue drops are visible. Then the disc is turned over and pasted over with green petals. The first row is attached at a distance of 2.5 cm from the edge, the next are shifted closer to the center. The petals are overlapped in circles, there should be no gaps between them.

The center of the disc is coated with glue, a crumpled newspaper is attached to it so that a hemisphere is obtained. For greater strength, it is fixed with threads. After drying, the center of the composition is covered with two layers of brown acrylic paint... It must be applied very carefully so as not to stain the satin petals. A small hole is made on the back for the stem.

You can do without newsprint by laying out the coffee beans in several rows so that closer to the middle, the thickness of the layers increases. Such a topiary will have a richer smell, but the amount of coffee beans required to create a composition will increase significantly.

After drying, coffee beans are glued to the core of the future flower with grooves down. If desired, they can be attached in two layers and covered with clear acrylic varnish. A strong branch is processed with sandpaper and tightly wrapped with green threads. Instead, the branch can be covered with 2 coats of green paint. You will get a strong and beautiful stem for a sunflower. The flower head is fixed on the upper part with glue. After the glue dries, the junction of the stem with the head is completely covered with the remaining green petals.

Finishing touches

To make the composition look especially elegant, you can decorate the pot. Dry branches are cut into equal pieces. Then the resulting sticks are wrapped from above and below with a thin rope or cord, tightly attached to each other. You should get a kind of fence that is glued to the walls of the pot. A little instant coffee is added to the acrylic varnish, the mixture is applied to sticks. As a result, the pot becomes beautiful and shiny, it exudes a light but persistent coffee aroma.

If there are drainage holes in the pot, they must be covered with plastic wrap. Gypsum or alabaster is bred in a separate container. A sunflower is placed in the center of the pot and poured with liquid plaster almost to the edge (an indent of 0.5 cm is desirable). For the substance to freeze, it will take at least 10 minutes, all this time the flower must be held with your hands. After fixing, the upper part of the pot is decorated with green sisal, imitating fresh grass, it is attached to the frozen gypsum with a couple of drops of glue.

An additional decorative effect will be given to the work by a ribbon tied over the pot. She will turn the composition into a full-fledged gift. Before handing over, the topiary can be packed in transparent cellophane, which will not only keep the craft from dust and damage, but also the best way will emphasize the beauty of the souvenir.

They will make the work even more elegant and cheerful. Butterflies and other insects made of wood and plastic are sold in souvenir and florist shops, and you can make them yourself.

My group is called « Sunflower» why did I make such a choice? Do you know that sunflower always turns its head towards the sun, even if the sun is hidden behind a cloud. Sunflower the most cheerful and sun-loving flower that symbolizes happiness and joy. For the manufacture of sunflower we need:

Let's get to work. First you need to cut ribbons yellow 5 cm long and ribbons green, 6 cm long.

Now we take ribbon yellow and fold it in half lengthwise inside out, cut the corner diagonally, hold ribbon tweezers and singe over the candle.

Then we bend the lower ends on both sides, like this, and again we singe over the candle. The petal is ready, and we also make leaves from green ribbons.

Now we will take the brown ribbon 3 meters and string it on a thread, very tightly, in finished form you get 25-30 cm.

We cut out two circles with a diameter of 6 cm from felt.

And now we will start collecting our flower. Along the edge of the felt circle, we lay out the first row of yellow petals, then lay out the second row and the third.

After we have laid out three rows of yellow petals, we make the middle sunflower... For this, collected brown ribbon we twist it into a snail and glue it in the middle of the flower.

Then from the back side sunflower we glue the green leaves and close it on top with a second circle of felt.

Here sunflower and ready, now it can be decorated with a ladybug.
