If you nevertheless decided to choose a cosmetic product for problem skin on your own, you need to understand the issue in detail. Important patterns that will help you avoid disappointment and significantly save your money:

Owners of problem skin need to carefully study the composition of each product. The purchase of cheap low-quality products should be abandoned altogether, so as not to aggravate the condition of the face.

Pharmacy cosmetics are manufactured taking into account the most stringent requirements. Before getting into the hands of buyers, it is subject to the control of special authorities. A pharmacy cream, unlike a cosmetic one, contains substances that are used in the production of medicines. For example, zinc oxide, calcium gluconate, dexpanthenol and many others. Thanks to this, medicinal and pharmaceutical cosmetics are able to heal the skin.

Benefits of pharmacy cosmetics

Smooth skin without wrinkles and acne is what every woman strives for. Manufacturers of cosmetics make good money on this. Women are constantly in search of their own perfect cream that will transform the skin.

The overwhelming majority of mass-market care products contain cheap and often dangerous components. Parabens, mineral oils, formaldehyde, propylene glycol, phthalates and many others can harm the skin and the body. All of these substances can be found in skin care products sold in most beauty stores.

Pharmacy creams are strictly tested. Their formulas are softer, but much more effective. Dangerous chemicals, preservatives and antibiotics cannot be found in their composition. Cosmetics contain only plant extracts, vitamins, enzymes, minerals, peptides, thermal water and other useful substances.

Pharmacy cosmetics are divided into two subtypes:

  1. Dermatological, or medicinal. It contains substances that are able to penetrate through the surface layers of the skin deep into the epidermis. Mass-market cosmetics are not capable of this. Healing creams and serums are most often prescribed by a doctor to combat dermatitis and various rashes.
  2. Pharmaceutical. Products from this group can significantly improve the overall condition of the skin. Most often it is used to slow down the aging process.

Pharmacy skin creams do not mask its imperfections, but actually fight them. These products are multifunctional. The anti-aging pharmaceutical cream can not only smooth wrinkles, but also increase the density and elasticity of the skin. And also tighten the oval.

Pharmaceutical and dermatological care cosmetics are always tested on sensitive skin. This is an advantage as many women in the modern world suffer from irritation, redness and breakouts. Choosing a pharmacy cream, you can not be afraid that its use will provoke the development of an allergic reaction.

Considering the vast assortment of creams on pharmacy shelves, we often wonder how these creams, ointments and emulsions differ from those sold in stores.

The first difference can be seen immediately - this is the high cost of pharmaceutical cosmetics. Is it more expensive - is it better? Or is it something else?

We will understand this issue, because facial skin care, especially problematic, requires a serious approach in order to eliminate the existing shortcomings and not harm.

Pharmacy care products belong to cosmeceuticals - a young and rapidly developing branch of the cosmetic industry. It is intended for those who are looking for guaranteed solutions for problem skin (acne, rashes, blemishes, an abundance of freckles, excessive porosity and oily skin, peeling, etc.).

If skin defects are not associated with a specific disease of the body, it makes no sense to use medicinal ointments, and cosmetic store creams are not effective enough to solve these problems.

The golden mean and a suitable solution would be care and treatment with the help of pharmacy cosmeceuticals.

The main differences between pharmacy cosmetics and those sold in stores

The main differences between pharmacy products are:

  • Proven and guaranteed performance. Quality assurance by clinical and laboratory research and certificates obtained on their basis.
  • An innovative formula enriched with acids, enzymes, vitamins and antioxidants.

Pharmacy preparations are medications that heal the causes of acne, inflammation, and other painful conditions. They are free of parabens, fragrances and dyes.

  • Value for money. The costs of pharmaceutical face cosmetics are aimed at developing innovative formulas that can not mask the cause of the problem, but treat it. Therefore, the price includes the cost of expensive laboratory and clinical research.
  • Solving specific target problems. A pronounced target orientation of funds is achieved by developing formulas that solve specific identified problems. Some drugs have a preventive effect and their use supports health. skin.
  • Therapeutic effect. Pharmaceutical face cosmetics differ from mass-market products in their therapeutic effect. Pharmacy cosmetics are much more effective than even premium store cosmetics.

Watch the second part of the video about medical care cosmetics from well-known manufacturers:

Good day! In this post, I want to give a brief overview of those brands that are medicinal and are presented in almost all pharmacies. My own experience pushed me to this. Since I am the owner of very sensitive allergic skin, besides problematic, and even with photosensitivity. Of course, I went to the pharmacy to get the care products, and there was a variety of brands. It was very difficult to navigate in all this, everything seemed to be "pharmacy", but, nevertheless, everything was different. As a result, I tried a very large number of different products from each brand, which I will discuss below.
When creating this post, I wanted to get away from the clichés "good / bad", "good makeup / bad makeup". For me - there are no bad brands, all brands are good; there are brands that fit or did not suit me. Since I made sure that h sensitive skin can react in any way to anything and at any time, and, unfortunately, it does not at all depend on whether it is a new cream or whether you have been using it for a long time, whether it is ideal for your girlfriend or mother. Each of us is unique and each has our own very special skin. I hope my post is helpful to someone. So let's get started.
All pharmacy cosmetics, in my opinion, can be divided into three large sections:

The products are not hypoallergenic

My classification does not include anti-aging products, personal care products, hair care and body shaping products. Otherwise, the fast would be endless. If it is interesting, then in the future I can tell you about them or about any range in more detail. I do not pretend to be 100% true, since the information from the manufacturers' websites was presented from my point of view, this is my view of the brands presented in the pharmacy.
Now some of my personal impressions of them. As I already said, I can safely say that in 5 years I have tried everything that is sold in the pharmacy. Of course, from what was appropriate for the problem and age. And anti-aging products have been tested on your beloved mom. I was looking for the perfect care products for very sensitive problem skin. I think that the only option for people with the same problems as mine is to try, try and try again. You never know what to expect from sensitive skin. So some hypoallergenic products do not suit me, and some Lierac products are perfect! So it turned out that in almost every brand I found my favorites. So let's start over.
V Vichy- my favorite line Normaderm, I love cleansing gel and tonic in it. The toner is perhaps my favorite of all for combination to oily skin. From him I watched the most better effect narrowing of pores and smoothing of skin relief. I like that it slightly mattes, and at the same time there is no powder in it. I love Normaderm scrub and Normaderm night scrub very much. The scrub is good in all respects: price, quality, result. Night Normaderm likes the texture: the cream is very light and at the same time the skin becomes velvety without the feeling of a greasy film. (By the way, this cream has one feature - in the morning the face shines with a greasy shine. This is the result of its work - it makes the sebum come out and not accumulate inside overnight. In principle, there is no problem with this - I washed it in the morning and that's it. The company also likes the scrub Merck, but in a measure of 50 ml., and in a normderm 200 ml, and the price is the same. For efficiency, I prefer the latter.
Aqualia Thermal Light helps when the skin becomes dehydrated, I apply it periodically under Efaklar K or Duo. I really like its new texture, very delicate and pleasant.
My favorite care for every day is Efaklar K and Efaklar AI, if everything is bad, I switch to Efaklar Duo (but I still apply Efaklar AI locally on top - it’s more effective, although consultants do not advise, but this is my personal discovery). V La Roche-Posay I love the soothing toner and moisturizing mask. After the toner and mask, the skin is very comfortable, it is really moisturized and soothed, there are no other words for it. Their Toleran line is not replaceable for me during an exacerbation of allergies, especially Toleran ultra. True, for oily skin the texture is rather dense, but it soothes the skin, relieves itching, and really in 5-10 minutes, and for that I am ready to forgive him everything. (Previously, I used Atoderm ROzinc in general, it is for super dry skin, but it removed perfectly.)
V Uryage love Tolederm water and Iseak sunscreen. It is very lightweight for sunscreen unlike the insanely dense Aven emulsion, which sent comedones all over my face.
V Aven- favorite mask of Cleans. In terms of cleansing, it is not very good, but it evens out the skin relief perfectly, this is visible even after the first application.
V Ducre and Bioderma unfortunately nothing came up - I don't like textures at all, they don't fit my skin, and not a single line (except for Atoderm ROzinc, which I eventually refused).
V SkinSyuticals for me the best moisturizing serum in the world. Confused only by the price. You need a very small droplet the size of a pea to apply it all over your face, so it lasts for a long time, about 5 months. And it instantly gives you an incomparable feeling of comfort.
V Lierac- my favorite Clarte cleansing mask. It perfectly cleans blackheads the first time (the rest of the masks have to be applied 2 times to flawlessly clean the pores). It is very pleasant in texture, with pleasant smell and heats up slightly during operation. But this makes it even better, a pleasant warmth is felt on the face. This mask also has its own peculiarity - it cannot be kept for more than 15 minutes, otherwise the face will acquire an earthy-green hue, and then nothing can wash it off (it was the case - I covered the complexion with foundation). Therefore, the advice - we all read the instructions for use before use, and not after.
Also, this brand really likes the Hydrochrono line, but, unfortunately, the emulsion was allergic, although I used it before, and the balm I used in the coldest frosts this winter clogged all the pores, and comedones appeared all over the face, even where they never were. Three months healed the skin after a week of use.
The brand Nyux I like the Rev de Miel body scrub, and more specifically the fragrance and the softness of the skin after using it.
I love the Sanaflor brand very dearly. My favorites are rose and lavender flower water. I like that the company is natural and does not contain synthetic fragrances. The rose flower water has a delicate aroma of a real rose from the garden, and not a synthetic perfume "rose" as in Nyx. Lavender flower water soothes oily skin, makes it matte, and heals the pores themselves. The effect is noticeable after the first week of use.
I can talk and talk about my favorite cosmetics for hours, so summarize .
My advice for people with sensitive skin
1. Try all the tools that interest you yourself. Of course, you need to listen to the reviews, but only you yourself will understand whether this tool is right for you or not.
2. Pay attention to the texture of the product. Choose only those products that are created for your skin type and have direct indications of solutions to the problem that bothers you. (That is, there is no point in waiting for a cream for dry skin rosacea to cure acne and get rid of blackheads. And a nourishing cream for very dry skin that stimulates sebum production will relieve oily problem skin from dehydration.)
3. Pay attention to which category this or that brand belongs. If you are a lover of natural cosmetics, choose natural. If you often have allergies - hypoallergenic. (In the reviews, I read the girl's displeasure that the hydrophase mask contains only mineral oils and glycerin. Natural oils or herbal extracts are very difficult to find in hypoallergenic cosmetics. Because same essential oil an orange is likely to cause a violent skin reaction in an allergic person. For that, all these components can be found from Nyuks, Leirak and Sanoflor.)
Carefully study the packaging, go to the manufacturer's websites and then there is a high probability that you will be satisfied with your choice.
4. If it so happens that you find it difficult to figure out what is happening with your skin, contact a good competent specialist, the main thing in this matter is to find him.
Good luck to everyone!
My endless post is over
Information borrowed from here

Have you ever wondered what is the difference between creams, one of which can be bought in the store, and the other in the pharmacy chain? The latter needs to go through a lot of laboratory tests to earn its right to belong to cosmeceuticals - a young but rather promising modern industrial cosmetics industry. Each issued certificate is a proof of availability medicinal properties and high quality. What are the features of pharmacy face cosmetics?

Features of pharmacy cosmetics

You problem skin and you can't choose a remedy for her care? In fact, remedies in these cases can be very harmful in the absence of any specific diseases, and cosmetic formulations for solving these problems are not effective enough. Accordingly, it is required between them golden mean, which is the pharmaceutical cosmetics for the face, it performs two functions - heals and cares. It has many advantages.

Effectiveness of funds

Unlike different types cosmetic products, pharmaceutical products are intended for use by patients with both sensitive, healthy skin as well as with skin that has certain diseases. Most often, various defects of the skin are the result of internal problems of the body: age-related, hormonal, the result of chronic diseases, etc.

Pharmacy cosmetics can be used as an addition to a general therapeutic course, and to perform specific dermatological tasks. Cosmeceuticals can minimize the external nature of the disease, reduce the incidence and intake dosage medical supplies.

Each company has several lines of drugs to get rid of aesthetic problems:

  • acne;
  • hyperpigmentation;
  • dermatitis;
  • rosacea.

During an exacerbation of skin diseases, you should consult a dermatologist before buying cosmetic pharmacy ointments and cream.

Women with healthy skin very often also prefer cosmeceuticals, which can perfectly take care of any skin type. But in order to achieve the maximum result, it needs apply courses... Pharmacy cosmetics can be used for a long time, since it is not addictive.

Medicines certification

The quality of pharmacy cosmetics has been proven not only reviews of grateful customers, but also by the presence of the corresponding certificates, which were obtained as a result of passing multiple laboratory tests.

Composition of preparations

The composition of pharmacy cosmetics for the skin of the face contains more dietary supplements, acids, antioxidants, vitamins and enzymes. These are active substances that affect cellular level on the processes that occur in the skin. From this and such a high quality.

Quality-to-price ratio

The high price of an ordinary cosmetic product that is sold in a store is explained in its composition by expensive components (for example, 24-carat gold powder or pearl dust) or a brand (Lancome or Christian dior they cannot be cheap).

Pharmacy cosmetics can cost a lot only because the costs are incurred to create unique formulas that are not only can get rid of defects, but also to treat them so that pathologies no longer appear.

Solving specific tasks

In the store you can buy a regular moisturizing or nourishing toner that can suit absolutely all skin types. This number will not work in pharmacy chains. A nutritional preparation can help to cope with seasonal vitamin deficiencies, and a moisturizer will actively begin to fight against excessive dryness and flaking... Medical and cosmetic formulations are designed in such a way as to effectively solve certain skin problems.

Healing effect

The most important difference between cosmetics in a pharmacy for a face and store products is in its therapeutic effect. Regular whitening serum temporarily blocks the formation of melanin, due to which pigment spots become less noticeable. As soon as you stop using these drugs, they will start reappearing. If this is a pharmaceutical lightening agent, then at the cellular level it will begin to change the rate of formation of the same melanin... And this result will persist even after you finish using it, as the production mechanism will be adjusted.

All these factors indicate that cosmetics in pharmacies for facial skin care are much better than conventional store products. Action pharmacy products on the skin can be compared with the effect of cosmetology salon procedures, on which much more money and time is spent. But how to choose among the large number of offered funds?

The best cosmetics for facial skin in the pharmacy are the ones that are best suited to solve your particular cosmetic problem. But despite the fact that cosmeceuticals are a fairly young industry, they can already offer women a wide variety of products that can easily get confused. A number of helpful guidelines will prevent you from doing this.

  1. Examine reviews and popularity ratings. Stop at a pharmacy company from which you can financially master the products.
  2. Choose among the products of this brand a line of drugs to solve your particular cosmetic problem.
  3. Seek the help of a dermatologist so that the doctor will approve your choice.
  4. When you buy cosmetics in a pharmacy chain, carefully study the packaging. If you have any questions, be sure to ask your pharmacist.

But it must be remembered that in this case, pharmaceuticals are involved to a certain extent, and, accordingly, some break in the course of therapy will be required. We used to the end a series of purchased medicinal preparations - let your skin rest from such an active action on it, “pamper” your face with something lighter and more gentle.
