Program

Summer health camp with day stay

"Rainbow"

Ust-Sosnovo, 2013

The development of this program for organizing holiday recreation, health improvement and employment for children was caused by:

Increased demand of parents and children for organized recreation for schoolchildren in the village;

The need to streamline the existing system of long-term planning;

Ensuring continuity in the work of the camp of previous years;

Modernization of old forms of work and introduction of new ones;

The need to use the rich creative potential of adolescents and teachers and implement the goals and objectives of the program.

This program is aimed at comprehensive, i.e. includes diverse activities, combines various areas of health improvement, recreation and education of children in a health camp.

The duration of the program is short-term i.e., it is implemented during the camp shift. Activities in the camp are carried out in two directions - arts and crafts and artistic and aesthetic creativity.

The main composition of the camp - children from 6 to 16 years old inclusive, students of educational institutions. When picking Special attention is given to children from low-income, single-parent families, from families with retired parents, as well as children in difficult life situations. The activities of pupils during the camp shift are carried out in groups of 25 people of different ages.

The program was developed taking into account the following legislative and regulatory documents:

Convention on the Rights of the Child;

Constitution of the Russian Federation;

Law of the Russian Federation “On Education”;

Federal Law “On the Basic Guarantees of the Rights of the Child in the Russian Federation” dated July 24, 1998 No. 124-FZ;

Labor Code of the Russian Federation from 2006. No. 197-FZ;

- “On approval of the procedure for carrying out shifts of specialized camps, with day stays, labor and recreation camps” (Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation dated July 13, 2001 No. 2688);

Decree of the Government of the Trans-Baikal Territory “On the organization and provision of recreation and health improvement for children in the Trans-Baikal Territory in 2010” dated 01/12/2010

Program concept

The truth is that only a healthy person with feeling good, psychological stability, high morality is able to live actively, successfully overcoming various difficulties and achieving success in any activity. Therefore, parents and teachers are concerned about raising a healthy, physically strong child and developing his creative abilities.

The teaching staff pays great attention to the development of children's creative potential. Teachers of additional education of artistic, aesthetic, technical, applied orientation unanimously believe that in the absence of targeted pedagogical influence on the development of creative abilities, their extinction occurs.

However, an analysis of the health of camp students shows that more than half of them have various diseases. The most common of them are: scoliosis, poor posture, impaired vision, etc. It has been proven that if a child is sick, he cannot devote all his energy to creation, to overcoming the tasks associated with creative activity.

It is also necessary to take into account that health status is influenced by such factors as the social environment. Most of the camp's students live in single-parent families, some of them have retired parents. Even at half single-parent families income is only living wage. Hence the poor, irrational diet and limited opportunities for children’s health.

The concept of a “healthy lifestyle” must be laid down in childhood. According to surveys of children, the parents of many of them seek salvation in medications, underestimating the power of the effect on the body and the effectiveness of such factors as physical activity, hardening, the basics of massage, etc.

According to the survey results, 76% of children believe that they lead a healthy lifestyle, the rest do not pay attention to this issue of great importance. However, all pupils believe that health is important for the future generation.

Considering all of the above, the teaching staff of the summer health camp sets itself the following goal and tasks:

Target: organization of diversified recreation for children and adolescents using the educational and health-bearing potential of summer and the environment.

Tasks:

Create opportunities for the development and disclosure of the creative activity of each camper;

Organize interesting, educational and exciting leisure time;

Instill the skills of caring for nature;

Develop organizational skills through children's participation in camp management ( Appendix No. 1).

Summer is the best time to communicate with nature, a constant change of impressions, encounters with unknown, sometimes exotic corners of nature. This is the time when children have the opportunity to relieve the psychological stress that has accumulated over the year, look carefully around them and see what amazing things are nearby.

In recent years, there has been an obvious increase in attention to the organization of summer health camps. They carry out a very important mission of improving the health and education of children, when many families are in difficult economic and social conditions. In addition, camps contribute to the formation of collectivism and communication skills in children that does not suppress the individual.

Summer holidays today are not only social protection, it is also a testing ground for creative development, enriching the spiritual world and intellect of the child.

During the summer holidays, the tension accumulated over the year is released, expended energy and health are restored, and creative potential is developed. These functions are performed by a summer camp with daytime stay for children. Several months before the start of the camp, a lot of preparatory work is carried out.

Every year, a health-improving session is held for students at a day camp on the basis of the MBOU "Nikolskaya OOSH" in the Ust-Ishim district of the Omsk region. It is mandatory to involve children from large and low-income families. In order to make your vacation complete, a program was developed.

This program provides for the organization of summer recreation and health improvement for children in a day camp. Taking into account the emotional and mental overload of the child at school and family, educators are faced with the goal of organizing effective health-improving work with children.

The directions of the program are based on the formation of motivation for a healthy lifestyle, continued acquaintance with the outside world and, of course, the improvement and hardening of children.

The development of this program for organizing summer holidays, health improvement and employment for children was caused by:

  • increased demand from parents and children for organized recreation for schoolchildren;
  • modernization of old forms of work and introduction of new ones;
  • the need to use the rich creative potential of children and teachers in realizing the goals and objectives of the program.

Three detachments of 16 and 17 people were created in the camp. There are children from families that need special protection from the state: large families, single mothers, single mothers. The age of children is from 7 to 14 years.

Qualified teachers from among the school teachers work as educators in the camp. The conditions created at the school for the camp work help solve the set tasks: game rooms, recreation room, gym, stadium, library, recreation center.

The center of the educational work of the camp is the child and his desire for realization. Staying here for every child is a time of gaining new knowledge, acquiring skills and life experience.

This program is comprehensive in its focus, i.e. it includes diverse activities and combines various areas of health improvement, recreation and education of children in a health camp.

The program is aimed at junior and intermediate school age.

To create favorable conditions for improving the health and organizing leisure time of students during the summer holidays, developing the creative and intellectual potential of the individual, his individual abilities and talents, creative activity, taking into account his own interests, inclinations and capabilities.

  1. Creating conditions for organized holiday children.
  2. Introducing children to creative activities, developing creative thinking.
  3. Formation of cultural behavior, sanitary and hygienic culture.
  4. Creating favorable conditions for strengthening children's health, using the surrounding nature as a source of child health.
  5. Organization of an environment that provides the child with the opportunity for self-realization based on individual personal potential.
  6. Formation of communication and tolerance skills in children.

Program implementation period: June 2015.

The program of the summer health camp “Anthill” with daytime stay for children is based on the following principles:

The principle of humanizing relationships

Building all relationships on the basis of respect and trust in a person, on the desire to lead him to success. Through the idea of a humane approach to the child, parents, and camp staff, a psychological rethinking of all the main components of the pedagogical process is necessary.

The principle of compliance of the type of cooperation with the psychological age characteristics of students and the type of leading activity

The result of educational activities in the summer school health camp “Anthill” is the cooperation of a child and an adult, which allows the camp student to feel like a creative person.

The principle of differentiation of education

Differentiation within a summer health camp involves:

  • selection of content, forms and methods of education in relation to the individual psychological characteristics of children;
  • creating the ability to switch from one type of activity to another within a shift (day);
  • the relationship of all events within the theme of the day;
  • active participation of children in all types of activities.

The principle of comprehensiveness of child health and upbringing.

This principle can be implemented under the following conditions:

  • a clear allocation of time for organizing health and educational work is necessary;
  • assessment of the effectiveness of children’s stay on the playground should be comprehensive, taking into account all groups of assigned tasks.

The principle of harmonization of the child’s essential forces, his intellectual, physical, emotional and volitional spheres, taking into account his individual and age characteristics.

  • options for choosing the implementation method in various types activities;
  • combination of forms of work that take into account age characteristics children;
  • constant correction of the effects on each child, taking into account the changes occurring in his body and psyche.

The principle of the integrative-humanitarian approach.

This principle defines five “facets”:

  • the facet of personal perception (“this affects or may affect me personally”);
  • the line of belonging (“the guys have achieved this, they need it, which means it’s available and I need it”);
  • the facet of global perception (“everyone needs to know this, which means it is important for me too; it relates to universal human values”);
  • the line of consensus orientation (“I recognize the right of others to have their own point of view, I can put myself in the place of others, understand their problems”);
  • the line of personal responsibility (“I am responsible for the consequences of my activities for other people and for nature”).

The principle of respect and trust.

This principle can be implemented under the following conditions:

  • voluntary inclusion of a child in one activity or another;
  • trust in the child in choosing the means to achieve the goal, mainly based on faith in the possibility of each child and his own belief in achieving negative consequences in the process of pedagogical influence;
  • taking into account the interests of students and their individual tastes.

The camp model has a number of objective factors that determine the specifics of its work:

  1. Temporary nature of the children's association.
  2. Varied activities– the saturation of the entire period with diverse interesting activities makes staying in the camp very attractive for children who, due to their age, strive to “try everything and be in time everywhere.” The summer health camp offers a wide variety of activities.
  3. The intensity of children's mastery of various types of activities– the child’s interest in any activity through the achievement of a subsequent certain positive result. In this sense, a person-centered approach means that the degree of intensity should be adequate to a person’s individual capabilities.
  4. Changing the child's position– a kind of destruction of the previous, sometimes negative, stereotype of behavior.
  5. Natural and climatic base– natural surroundings and clean air are an important component of the success of the camp.
  6. Clear mode of life– maximum use of natural and climatic factors, rational organization of all life activities of children.

Explanatory note

Summer is the best time to communicate with nature, a constant change of impressions, encounters with unknown, sometimes exotic corners of nature. This is the time when children have the opportunity to relieve the psychological stress that has accumulated over the year, look carefully around them and see what amazing things are nearby.

Holistic development of personality is possible with the harmonious development of spiritual and physical health, which provides the basis for social health, adaptation of the individual in society and the formation of an active position. It is during childhood and adolescence that the foundations of human health and personality are laid; most of this period falls on school age. This means that education bears responsibility not only for the development and education of the individual, but also for the formation of a culture of health, a healthy lifestyle, and, ultimately, for the formation of a holistic personality with an active creative attitude towards the world.

In recent years, there has been an obvious increase in attention to the organization of summer health camps. They perform a very important mission of improving the health and education of children. The camps contribute to the formation of collectivism and communication skills in children that does not suppress the individual. Summer vacation today is not only social protection, it is also a testing ground for creative development, enrichment of the spiritual world and intellect of the child. Every year, health-improving shifts are held for students at a day camp on the basis of Municipal Budgetary Educational Institution Nosh No. 1 of the village. Elban.

Relevance of the program

It is very important for the health of children that after a long period of the school year there is a release of accumulated tension. Unfortunately, the reality of our life is that socio-economic reforms have worsened the situation of the family, and to a greater extent the situation of children. Many parents have withdrawn from parenting, the traditional family structure is being destroyed, and generally accepted norms of behavior are changing. Participants in camp shifts are children with different health conditions, with different creative abilities, academic performance, social experience, etc. different families. Therefore, during the summer holidays it is necessary to provide complete organized rest for children, i.e.make it entertaining, rich, and beneficial for physical and psychological health.
It is for this purpose that the program of the health camp with day stay “City of the Sun” has been developed. The choice of the name of the camp program is not accidental: since there is a children’s organization “Sun” at the school.

When drawing up the program, we took into account the traditions and capabilities of the school, the level of training of the teaching staff, the wishes and interests of children and parents, and the experience of past years in organizing summer recreational holidays (modernization of old forms of work and introduction of new ones), as well as the experience gained by other camps.

This program is comprehensive in its focus, i.e. includes diverse activities, combines various areas of health improvement, recreation and education of children in a health camp.

Goals: - create favorable conditions for improving the health and organizing leisure time of students during the summer holidays, developing the creative and intellectual potential of the individual, his individual abilities and talents, creative activity, taking into account his own interests, inclinations and capabilities.

Tasks :

Creating conditions for organized recreation for children.

Introducing children to creative activities, developing creative thinking.

Formation of cultural behavior, sanitary and hygienic culture.

Creating favorable conditions for improving children's health.

Organization of an environment that provides the child with the opportunity for self-realization in individual and personal potential.

Formation of communication and tolerance skills in children.

Program participants – schoolchildren and preschoolers aged 6-11 years.

Principles used when planning and conducting a camp session

The program of the summer health camp “City of the Sun” with daytime stay for children and adolescents is based on the following principles:

The principle of humanizing relationships

Building all relationships on the basis of respect and trust in a person, on the desire to lead him to success. Through the idea of a humane approach to the child, parents, and camp teachers, a psychological rethinking of all the main components of the pedagogical process is necessary.

The principle of compliance of the type of cooperation with the psychological age characteristics of students and the type of leading activity

The result of educational activities in the summer health camp “City of the Sun” is the cooperation of a child and an adult, which allows the camp student to feel like a creative person.

The principle of differentiation of education

Differentiation within a summer health camp involves:

Selection of content, forms and methods of education in relation to the individual psychological characteristics of children;

Creating the ability to switch from one type of activity to another within a shift (day);

The relationship of all events within the theme of the day;

Active participation of children in all types of activities.

The principle of comprehensiveness of child health and upbringing.

This principle can be implemented under the following conditions:

A clear allocation of time for organizing health and educational work is necessary;

Assessment of the effectiveness of children’s stay on the playground should be comprehensive, taking into account all groups of assigned tasks.

The principle of harmonization of the child’s essential forces, his intellectual, physical, emotional and volitional spheres, taking into account his individual and age characteristics.

Variations in choosing the method of implementation in various types of activities;

A combination of forms of work that take into account the age characteristics of children.

The principle of respect and trust.

This principle can be implemented under the following conditions:

Voluntary inclusion of a child in one activity or another;

Trust in the child in choosing the means to achieve the goal, mainly based on faith in the possibility of each child and his own belief in achieving negative consequences in the process of pedagogical influence;

Taking into account the interests of students and their individual tastes

Program directions:

Physical education and health direction (protection and promotion of health, improvement of physical development of students, improvement of physical and mental performance, cultivation of healthy lifestyle habits);

Artistic and aesthetic direction (development of creative activity of the child’s personality, creation of a situation of success, formation of interest in art and artistic and aesthetic creativity);

Ecological direction (formation of a holistic view of nature and man’s place in it);

- spiritual and moral direction (to foster an active citizenship, to form love and respect for the national culture of history and traditions).

Expected results

During the implementation of this program it is expected:

  1. General improvement of pupils, strengthening their health
  2. Strengthening the physical and psychological strength of children, developing leadership and organizational skills, acquiring new knowledge, developing creative abilities, children's independence and initiative.
  3. Obtaining by participants a change in skills of individual and collective creative and labor activity, social activity.
  4. Development of communication skills and tolerance.

Program effectiveness criteria

In order for the program to work, it is necessary to create such conditions so that each participant in the process (adults and children) finds his place, takes pleasure in responsibilities and assignments, and also happily participates in the proposed activities. To meet these conditions, the following performance criteria have been developed:

Setting realistic goals and planning program results;

Compliance of the content of activities with the level of preparation and development of children;

Interest of teachers and children in the implementation of the program, favorable psychological climate;

Satisfaction of children and adults with the proposed forms of work;

Creative cooperation between adults and children.

Program implementation mechanism

The pedagogical basis of the program should be the game. The game becomes a factor social development personality. A plot-role-playing game was chosen as a game model.

Features of temporary children's group(VDK) ensure fairly rapid development of the team, which, in turn, contributes to the dynamics role-playing game.

The game includes search, labor, observation, sports, and mastery of skills. She's like good friend, introduces children to interesting people and the surrounding nature.

A role-playing game presupposes the presence of a plot and adherence to it by all camp participants. Everyone has their own role in it, but follows it at their own discretion, and not according to a strict script.

The plot determines the outline of the game, the rules and principles of life, and norms of behavior that can be adjusted during the game. Game is action, creativity of children and adults, the common joy of mutual understanding.

The theme of the shift “City of the Sun” plays on the idea of building and functioning of a city of creativity and joy within the framework of a large role-playing game. The life of a camp shift simulates the life of a city, in which each detachment is a family. The shift will take place in the form of a role-playing game “City of the Sun”.

The word “City” means a form of organization of shifts based on recognition of the values of equality, freedom, and justice. This is a kind of state where both children and adults are equal in their rights and responsibilities.

Role-playing game as a form of life activity provides great opportunities for the formation of a positive orientation of the child’s personality. Throughout the game, participants and organizers of the program live according to the already established laws and traditions of the camp, and act according to their roles.

Shift participants (city residents) unite into “houses” (detachments) and decide for themselves how they will live in them. The names of the “houses,” traditions, and the appearance of the residents are invented by the children themselves. Each “home” has a secret, or zest, which is reflected in the family corner. Together they develop the City Constitution, the Code of Honor, and the Calendar of the City of the Sun. Life activities are carried out through government bodies (City Forum, City Council, Center public opinion etc.). Each resident tries to realize his place in the house, his own importance.

The city and each house separately have their own coat of arms and anthem. Every day of the camp’s life passes under a certain motto and emotional mood. For example, the “nomination of the day” stated the choice of the lost quality “friendliness”. Residents of “cities” during the day can prove themselves during trials and adventures and earn from the Chairmen of the city government a “NOMINASHKA” - a star that will shine over the residents of a certain “house” (detachment). By the end of the shift, the residents of the “houses” (detachments), who have collected a larger number of “NOMINASHES”, acquire the power capable of returning their previous lives to all residents of the city.

The main mechanism for implementing general camp activities is themed days, on which a number of events are held within the framework of the theme of the shift and the day: Earth Day, Fatherland Day, Family Day, Peace Day, Labor Day, Love Day, Culture Day. The nominations by which teams are judged are as follows:

  1. Creative search and talent;
  2. Not a standard solution to problems;
  3. Friendly and cohesive relationships in the squad;
  4. Active position in the game;
  5. Responsible actions and actions, etc.

At the end of each day, the guys celebrate their mood in the “family” corner.

(Red is a great day! Orange is a very good day! Yellow is a day like a day, etc...) Teachers take these results into account in their work.

During the shift, diagnostics are carried out, which is aimed at identifying the degree of satisfaction of children from their stay in the camp and studying the satisfaction of teachers with their own activities in the summer camp.

On the large map of the city there is"business barometer".At the end of each day, children and teachers mark on this barometer how they think the day went.

The quality of a case (day) is determined by two criteria:

  1. Assessment of the quality of work by teachers.
  2. Assessment of the case by children.

Each criterion consists of several diagnostic parameters, which are assessed individually by each adult and child on a color scale. Having received a “picture” of the quality of the past task (day), when preparing the next one, you can pay increased attention to the qualitative change in the level of those parameters that were not rated highly enough.

Parameters for assessing teachers:

  1. Work organization.
  2. Content richness.
  3. Emotionality.
  4. Inclusion of children.
  5. Quality.

Parameters for assessing children:

  1. Important.
  2. Interesting.
  3. Friendly.
  4. Healthy.
  5. First.

If the case went “excellent” in all respects, the barometer indicator is red (each child paints a square on the barometer);

If one or two parameters require a more thorough approach to the matter - the barometer indicator is green;

If most of the parameters require refinement or more thorough preparation - dark blue color barometer.

At the end of the shift, you can clearly see how fruitful the work of the camp’s teaching staff was and what needs to be worked on. The same barometer will indicate to us the state of the psychological climate during the shift (how comfortable the children were), their mood and impressions will be visually presented on the travel map.

During the shift, work is carried out to identify the various abilities and interests of the children, and their personal characteristics are studied. When individual children's accomplishments are recognized, they receive “nominas”—little sparkling stars. In addition, in the plot of the game, an evil hurricane destroys sunny city, leaving the residents of the houses with one quality each (Warmness, Responsiveness, Friendliness, Purposefulness, Good-naturedness).

At the beginning of the shift, the game “Help the sun collect its rays” is introduced. Each ray is a symbol of quality: a ray of humor, a ray of knowledge, a ray of friendship, a ray of courage, a ray of health, a ray of sports, etc. To collect the rays of the sun, you need to prove yourself in action and win a ray at the end of the day.

The task of the shift: accumulate as many denominations as possible and collect all the sun's rays. At the gala concert at the end of the shift, the sun shines with all its rays, the nominations collected by the children form a rainbow in its rays, and colorful people - children - are having fun

The name of the shift is City of the Sun.

Legend of the city of the sun.

Far, far away in the sky there lived one star. She was cold and sad alone, and she traveled a lot in the hope of finding friends. One day, moving in the night silence of Space, far below, on Earth, she saw an unusual city. Its inhabitants sang amazing songs, played various games, made wonderful discoveries - they dreamed of growing up and leading everyone with them. It was the City of the Sun.

But the passage of time is inexorable, an evil hurricane, which came suddenly, destroyed this city, leaving the inhabitants of the houses with the same quality (Warmness, Friendliness, Responsiveness, Good-naturedness, Purposefulness). It seemed to everyone that the fire of romance would never light up, amazing songs would never be heard, magical deeds and great discoveries would never happen.

The star wanted to go down to Earth and help the guys. But the law of the Cosmos is harsh! Stars cannot descend to Earth, otherwise they will die! However, the desire was stronger and the Star rushed towards the Earth.

No, she didn't die! Having reached the city of the sun, it broke up into thousands of sparks and began to give a particle of its fire, light, warmth to those who believed in goodness, justice, and did good deeds. In every city, residents began to strive to conquer lost qualities, dreaming of beauty. Together they chose the city's main assets. People believed in a miracle, understood how beautiful the world is and how important it is to protect it.

Stages of program implementation

The whole game is divided into three stages:

1 Organizational stage(or as it has recently been called adaptive) is characterized by the launch game moment, getting the guys to know each other, with the intended play activities, acquaintance with the traditions, laws of the camp, teaching staff, dating events are held. Primary diagnostics of city residents is also carried out. There is an introduction to the idea of the game, the main stages of the game, and a presentation of the teams.

2 Main stage shifts are the longest shift period. It is at this stage that all set individual, personal and collective development goals are realized. The plot of the game develops here. The main mechanism for implementing general camp activities is thematic days. Every day there are a number of events within the theme of the shift and the day.

The main task:

  1. create conditions for organizing educational and developmental activities and communication between children, strive to ensure that children can realize themselves to the maximum;
  2. an opportunity for everyone to express themselves in various activities.

Throughout the game, participants and program organizers act according to their roles.

To successfully solve the problems of this organizational period, the activities of children and counselors must be of a versatile creative nature, be intense, emotional, and the mood itself must be romantic and upbeat.

3 Final(or final) stage - characterized by summing up the results of the entire game. The participation in the game of each participant is analyzed. The results of joint activities are summed up and the work of each city resident is assessed.
