All that will be needed is: a sheet of thick cardboard or chipboard, glue (it is better to use hot glue, which hardens very quickly), a hacksaw, varnish and brushes and, of course, branches of different tree species that differ in thickness. To decorate the frame, you can use wooden slats or baguette.

The dimensions of the canvas depend only on personal preference. Before making a panel, you need to think about what shape it will have, dimensions and possible shades.

Initially, the frame is made. Here you will need an additional tool - a miter box, which allows you to cut workpieces at an angle of 45 degrees. The finished frame is attached to the base using small nails or a stapler. Then we cut nickels from the branches, and the thickness can be different.

Ready-made blanks are laid out on the canvas in a chaotic order, starting from the largest and ending with the smallest, which will fill the resulting voids. When everything is ready and the canvas is completely filled, we proceed to gluing all the fragments. After this, you need to wait for the glue to dry and apply a layer of varnish. It will serve as an additional decoration, making the picture glossy and, moreover, creating a protective layer from moisture and harmful insects. At this point, making panels with your own hands can be considered complete. The only thing left to do is install it.

I found this cute picture on the Internet quite a long time ago. This is one American needlewoman who creates similar Christmas tree decorations. But as Christmas decorations I can’t imagine such a house, so I decided to put it in a frame, and at the same time tell you how I will make it. Go!

A “pattern” was attached to the picture, but I decided to make it myself and was not mistaken. Here you can only see how many parts our door will consist of. My door will be in an Ikea frame, so I adjusted the size to the desired size in the editor and printed it out. And then I simply cut the picture itself, but trimmed the edges a little. It will still end up a little uneven. This is what happened!

I’ll say right away that even though all the parts seem symmetrical, so that there are no misunderstandings, it’s better to take one side by the face. That's why I turned all my pieces over when transferring them to felt.

For the base I took blue felt, but here you can use any felt, it will be the back, which will not be visible later

Similarly, we translate and cut out all the parts. Only part of the door and doorway needs to be cut with an “allowance” along the edges so that the parts slightly overlap each other.

Now let’s put the “masonry” on the base and mark where to “put” the door and opening.

Now let's assemble our parts and once again make sure that everything is ready and suitable.

Let's start assembly. First we sew the door. We start embroidering improvised boards from the middle, so that later it turns out the same in both directions

Now we sew the frame. You can fix it a little more with fabric glue to make it smooth and more convenient, but it’s important not to overdo it with glue.

While the glue was drying, I sewed on the bricks.

Now we sew on the main part. I advise you to sew the inner contour in two steps from the middle, so that you don’t get too much on any of the sides.

Now let's work on the wreath on the door and the vine. We select green threads to our liking and start making leaves with a loop.

Instead of flowers in pots, I decided to “plant” trees and make these parts convex, for this I sewed them from 2 parts and stuffed them a little. The trees and wreath were decorated with beads.

I made trunks out of rough rope and then simply glued all the parts into place.

I cut out a mailbox opening and a door handle from black felt and glued them on. I printed out a brick wall on a printer and glued everything that came out. That's all!

This cute house can be made from straw or dry grass stems.
To work you need to prepare:
*Base made of plywood, fiberboard or corrugated cardboard
*Thin, maybe old, cotton fabric without a bright pattern
*Flour paste
*Gouache and brushes
*Moss, twigs, dried flowers or artificial small flowers
*Herbal brush for whitewashing
*Straws or dry grass stems
*Twine (thin rope)
*Glue “Dragon” or “Titanium”, easy to use heat gun

MK is carried out based on the work of my student Natasha Ogorodnikova.
We paint the moss in advance. To do this we use green and green spray paint. yellow flowers. If it is possible to use different shades the same color, it’s absolutely beautiful! Moss, of course, doesn’t have to be painted, but, unfortunately, it dries very quickly, loses its color, becomes somehow piebald and looks poor.
While the moss and paint are drying, prepare the base. To do this, carefully treat a sheet of plywood, fiberboard or corrugated cardboard with flour paste (you can also use PVA glue) and cover it with thin cotton fabric. This way we level the base from any cracks, bulges, etc. Dry it. If corrugated cardboard is used as a base, then there is no need to pour too much paste onto its surface; it will lead to it. Once the fabric is dry, paint the background. There is no need to paint the entire surface, about 2/3. You can just make the sky, or you can also depict some forests on the horizon.

We make a wattle fence from straw. It can be made from thin twigs or dry grass. To prevent the straws from scattering, Natasha used tape, pins and glue.
For the house, cut straws or dry grass stems into 12-13cm pieces. in length. We form bunches of them into columns that are not very thick and tie them tightly from the beginning and end, retreating ≈1-1.5 cm. from the edges. It will be something like logs. We trim the edges with scissors.

The background is dry. Glue moss, small pebbles or coarse sand onto the bottom of the base. We glue the “logs” in 4 rows, pressing them tightly against each other. We make a window and a door from straw. Carefully glue the fence.

Making a roof. To do this, carefully disassemble the grass brush and cut it into pieces ≈7-8 cm long. You can then tie on sheaves like these, align them at the top and bottom, and glue them just above the “logs,” again, pressing them tightly against each other. Here, of course, a heat gun would be very useful. You can sew straw on the roof sewing machine, but this must be done very carefully. The grass is sewn between thin strips of fabric or braid. It turns out very beautiful, but it’s a pity for the machine. We mask the place of the stitching with spikelets, dried flowers or artificial greenery.

Glue on thin branches. Trees. If you make birch trees, then the branches need to be painted in advance.

We form tree crowns from painted pieces of moss, try them on each branch and glue them.

Finishing touches...Decorating the work. For this you need sunflowers, dried flowers, a lot of different herbs, etc.
