History and teaching of Chinese drawing style

The technique of volumetric drawing came to nail art recently. In traditional Gzhel, Tagil or Zhostkovsky paintings, you can see drawings made with flat brushes.

If at the time of drawing the hairs of the brush do not gather into a single whole, it must be replaced (or after thoroughly drying, fluff with your fingers).

Then, with the same flat brush, the colors are mixed in order to pick up several shades on the brush at the same time, and the creation of stunningly delicate and very realistic floral patterns begins. It is plant design that is the basis of the “Chinese nail painting” technique.

Learning how to draw in the "one stroke" technique begins with tools and fixtures. So, for the "Chinese" you need:

• one flat and narrow (for drawing details) brushes;
• acrylic paints that can be applied to nails;
• water in a small jar (bowl);
• paper towels (napkins);
• nail polishes: colorless base, colored - background, transparent - finishing.

Chinese nail painting step by step is as follows:

• the design is determined and a sketch is made on paper - this way you can determine general form and adjust the size of the elements;
• for beginners, it’s also worth trying to draw on paper - you will understand how much paint you need to draw, how best to make strokes and evaluate the color scheme;
• transfer the lessons learned from paper to nails, having previously done a manicure and covered the nails with base varnish;
• place accents in the form of stamens or veins of leaves with a thin brush - this will give even more naturalness, and your Chinese nail painting will become perfection;
• after complete drying, a top coat is applied that will protect your masterpiece from the external aggressive environment.

Of course, Chinese nail painting is a technique that requires certain skills and experience. But drawing lessons at school, for sure, were not in vain, and you can create a truly amazing nail design on your own to please yourself and others.
