Here you go, New Year's couple ready.

How to connect Father Frost and Snow Maiden?

To knit Father Frost and the Snow Maiden, you will need knitting skills, as well as the following materials: a juice bottle, 1 ball of white yarn consisting of separate threads, a hook number 1.5-2, wool of different colors, napkins, a cocktail tube ( for a staff), artificial eyes for toys, scissors, glue, needle and thread.

Knitted toys are made according to the size of the bottle. First, five air loops are cast on, which are closed into a ring with a single crochet.

From the ring, a circle is knitted around the diameter of the bottle and several additional rows.

Alternating white yarn and colored threads, we knit a fur coat up to the neck of the bottle.

Using pink yarn, the craft is knitted to the end.

Using red and white yarn, we make a Santa Claus hat...

    And also a beard

    and mittens.

The nose is made from pink yarn, and the bag and staff of Santa Claus are made from red yarn.

At the end, we stuff the cap and gloves with napkins and sew all the parts together. You can put a small one in Santa Claus's bag New Year's gift. The Snow Maiden is made using the same principle as Father Frost.

I once knitted in kindergarten doll, crocheting a bottle of drinking yoghurt with a single crochet, it turned out very beautifully. You can do the same with Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden.

    Father Frost.

    • For a fur coat on the body, tie a bright red (or blue) thread around a bottle, neck with a white or light beige cap. For the collar and hem of the fur coat, you can use some kind of fleecy fabric or tie them with long loops.
    • For the hands you can knit the details rectangular shape, tighten with thread at the top and bottom for gathering, attach a cuff and sew to the body.
    • For the hat, knit a circle of the required size and pull it together for gathering, finishing the edge in the same way as the bottom of the fur coat. Attach the hat to the head.
    • Eyes can be made from beads, or cardboard, or embroidered. For the nose, you can glue a small piece of foam rubber or also embroider it. The beard can be tied with long loops or a piece of cotton wool can be glued directly under the nose.

    Snow Maiden.

The Snow Maiden can be made according to the principle of making Father Frost, only, of course, without a beard. Embroider the Snow Maiden's mouth with red thread. You can put a hat on your head, or you can come up with a crown. If you make a crown, you will need to cover your head with hair made from threads. To do this, wind some threads on cardboard, as in the picture (the width of the cardboard corresponds to the length of the hair), remove and sew in the center, then distribute over the head and glue, braid the remaining threads.

    You can also look at:

    • Santa Claus made of beads.
    • Santa Claus from a plastic bottle.
    • How and from what you can make Santa Claus
  • You can knit Father Frost and Snow Maiden as a gift to your friends for a bottle of champagne and this gift will look like a piggy bank. A very original couple

We will need thin threads of white, red and blue, as well as a hook

Let's start knitting the Snow Maiden, knit a chain of 40 chain stitches, then connect to make a circle. And now we knit 5-7 rows without a crochet

Now we need to add rows. From rows 7 to 12, every five loops we increase by two loops. From rows 12 to 17 we add three loops each, also at intervals of five loops. From rows 17 to 20 we add 4 loops per row. From 20 to 25 we add rows of five loops.

Now you need to tie the bottom with openwork knitting. Each craftswoman and lovers of openwork knit to their own taste.

Santa Claus' fur coat is knitted in exactly the same way, with added stitches, but without openwork knitting

You can come up with hats and edges for them yourself, which knitting is better.

Eat different ways, as you can on knitting needles, or crochet on New Year its attributes and symbols are Father Frost and the Snow Maiden.

I suggest knitting Santa Claus and Snow Maiden with your own hands - hot water bottles for a teapot. It’s not difficult, at the same time there will be an original cape to keep the kettle warm, which reminds winter holidays and gives you a New Year's mood.

It is not difficult to knit according to the pattern.

You can also knit these funny Santa Claus and Snow Maiden yourself.

And the knitting technique is as follows.

    For Santa Claus:

    For Snow Maidens:

If you liked the figures and the knitting technique, there is also a master class for the Snowman and the Christmas Tree, they will all be together for the holiday!

    Happy crafting!

    Happy New Year!

A very interesting gift - related with my own hands toy.

It can be like a finger toy, with the help of which you can even stage a New Year's performance for children.

You can also knit a caftan of Santa Claus and decorate a bottle with it.

In the video you can watch a master class on knitting Santa Claus.

You can make small souvenirs for your work colleagues for the New Year: Buy cylindrical sharpeners and tie them with a crochet hook, knit the head separately, sew on beads - eyes, a beard made of fur or yarn, and so on, as your imagination tells you. But your gift will remain on your colleague’s desk for a long time, since an office worker will always need a sharpener. I’m currently in the process of knitting blue horses, it’s very cool.

  • Ded Moroz and Snegurochka. How to connect them?

    First, let's make/knit Santa Claus:

    • first of all, tie the bottom of the future Frost Case (we will use white threads for this, but you can use any other). The bottom can be made to any size (at your discretion):

    • Next we move on to knitting the body - here red threads are already suitable:

    • squeeze in this way for about 4 - 6 rows and you get a kind of barrel > after that we begin to reduce the loops so that this very barrel narrows:

    • Fill the resulting body of Santa Claus with some soft filler (it’s better to fill it tighter - it will be easier to shape):

    • then we close the body so that you get a circle (you can close it through 1 loop) > then we tie the bottom of the body to give the fur coat a fullness:

    • Next we knit small arms (the size of the arms is at your discretion) > then we fill both arms with the same filler and attach them to our body:

    • Using the same method (as we knitted the body), we knit the head of Santa Claus:

    • on a knitted head, you need to highlight the shape of the face with threads and a needle, eyes can be made from small buttons (we sew them on), a beard and mustache are made from threads:

    • we sew the mustache and beard made from threads into place, then we make the nose and mouth of Santa Claus like a knot > then we sew the head to the body:

    • Of course, you also need to knit a scarf (of arbitrary length):

    • then we knit a hat and put it on Santa Claus:
New Year's souvenir from the Master
Blog of master Zabelina Svetlana

I knitted such a souvenir for a gift; I will be happy to share the process of its creation with you.

I described how to knit a Christmas tree in the previous workshop topic, and Santa Claus is knitted like this:

Start from the bottom edge, using red thread, cast on 60 stitches, mark the middle of the knitting with a thread of a different color.

1st row: (2 knits) to the end – 30 loops.

Stocking stitch 8 rows.

Replace the thread with black and knit 4 rows in stockinette stitch.

Replace the thread with a red one and knit 8 rows in stockinette stitch.

Replace the thread with pink one.

Track. row: knit 6, knit 2tog 3 times, knit 6 – 24 stitches.

Stocking stitch 10 rows.

Track. row: 2vm. persons to the end - 12 loops. Break the thread, finish the job.

Pull the thread through the remaining loops and tighten.

Hand (2 pcs.):

Start from the top of the arm using red thread. Cast on 18 stitches.

1st row: (2 vm.) – to the end – 9 loops.

Stocking stitch 5 rows. Replace the thread with pink one.

Stocking stitch 3 rows.

Break the thread and pull through the remaining loops, tighten.

With white cast on 12 stitches.

Double each stitch.

Continue in garter stitch, decreasing one stitch on both sides on each row until 2 stitches remain, fasten off.

Using brown thread, cast on 10 loops. Stocking stitch 35 rows. Close.

Using white thread, cast on 32 loops. Garter stitch 2 rows. Replace the thread with red one. Stocking stitch 4 rows. To form the top 2 inm. persons (knit 8, knit 2) 3 times - 28 loops. Stocking stitch 3 rows.

Next row: k1, k2. persons (Knit 6, knit 2) 3 times, knit 1. – 24 loops.

Stocking stitch 3 rows.

Next row: (knit 1, knit 2) to end – 16 stitches.

Stocking stitch 3 rows.

Next row: (2 knits) to the end - 8 loops.

Next row: purl.

Next row: (2 knits) to the end - 4 loops.

Break the thread leaving a long end. Pass the yarn through the remaining loops and tighten.

Sew the body parts with a knitted seam, stuff the head, then the body. Starting from the loop marked with a marker, sew the knitting through with red thread to a height of 1 cm. Insert felt circles into the leg holes and hem through the cast-on edge. Sew the arm pieces and sew them to the body. Sew the beard to the face along the closed row. Make a few stitches with red yarn for the nose. Make a V-shape stitch on the beard for the mouth.

Sew the ends of the rows of the hat, turn it inside out, and sew a white pom pom to the top. Fill the hat a little and sew it to the head along the first red row.

In order to knit a gift, you can knit a small rectangle and sew it into a box shape, adding stuffing, then wrap it with ribbon.

The base of the toy is a computer disk on which the knitted cover and Santa Claus, a Christmas tree and a gift are sewn on.
The disc cover is knitted on circular needles as follows:
Cast on 54 stitches in gray or blue.
1 rub. Facial.
2 r. Knit 6, yarn over = 63 p.
3 r. Facial.
4 rub. Knit 7, yarn over = 72 p.
5 rub. Facial.
6 rub. Purl, for folding along the edge of the disc.
7 rub. (Knit 2, knit 6) 9 times = 63 p.
8 rub. Facial. (Next, all even rows are knitted)
9 rub. (Knit 2, knit 5) 9 times = 54 p.
Change the thread to white.
11 rub. (Knit 2, knit 4) 9 times = 45 p.
13 rub. (Knit 2, knit 3) 9 times = 36 p.
15 rub. (Knit 2, knit 2) 9 times = 27 sts.
17 rub. (Knit 2, knit 1) 9 times = 18 p.
19 rub. (2 v. k.) 9 times = 9 p.
Cut the thread, leaving a long end, which you pass through the remaining loops and pull tight, securing the end of the thread on the back side.
Gather on thread gray loops of the cast-on edge, but do not pull. Lubricate the surface of the disk with PVA glue, put the knitted cover on the disk and secure it by pulling the thread (with reverse side The disc will be covered only halfway with the cover, so you can first stick a congratulation on it or just a fragment of a New Year’s card).
While the glue is not dry, sew a Christmas tree or a gift to the tied disk of Santa Claus, having previously greased the bases of these items with PVA glue. After the glue has dried, the souvenir is ready.
