1. First, we dose the raw materials into the concrete mixer. There they are mixed and the concrete mixture is prepared.
2. Then the concrete mixture is fed into the gap between the outer and inner rings of the vibroform. It can be done either manually at low productivity, or using a crane beam and a bucket for concrete mixture.
3. The concrete mixture is then compacted into the mold for 3 minutes using vibration.
4. Immediately after vibration compaction, the vibration mold is removed by a crane beam, hoist, or lifting device. The ring remains in place for hardening (8-12 hours), and the vibroform is transferred to a new section of the workshop or testing ground for molding the next product.

Raw components for the production of rings:

Ring reinforcement
When producing premium category rings (Fig. B), they are reinforced throughout the entire volume with a reinforcing frame-mesh made of wire with a diameter of 3-4 mm and a cross-section of 200*200 mm. The frame can be made independently or purchased externally. The frame reinforcement also includes lifting loops, which are made from wire with a diameter of 5-8 mm. For rings with a diameter of 0.7 and 1 meter, two loops are needed, for rings with a diameter of 1.5 and 2 meters, four loops are needed. The loops are bent according to a template made of soft wire, it is not difficult.

The shapes for reinforced concrete products, in particular rings, can be different. But let's consider the simplest option. If you want to establish truly cost-effective production, it is best to have several types of molds.

Such forms are a pair of cylinders: outer and inner. Wood can be used as a material for them. The cylinders have different diameters. The size of the internal one is directly dependent on the thickness of the finished rings. The walls of the cylinder consist of two rings, each of which is also divided into several parts. Such a rather complex design of the mold was necessary, so it was more convenient to remove them from a ready-made reinforced concrete product. The outer cylinder of the mold also consists of a pair of rings divided into several components. This ring of reinforced concrete form is sheathed with boards only on the inside.

Technology for the production of concrete rings

The production of all reinforced concrete rings looks the same. First, the first (outer) cylinder is installed on a flat panel. The second one is placed inside, but in such a way that the resulting gap between them is equal around the entire circumference. Next, a reinforcement cage is installed in the resulting gap.

The next stage is the production of concrete, the main components of which are crushed stone, cement and sand. In this case, the proportion 4:1:2 is observed. You can, as mentioned earlier, purchase a ready-made solution. The resulting mixture is placed into the mold gradually along the entire diameter.

Reinforced concrete products can be released from the mold after about 5 days. Inspect the surface carefully. If a so-called sink has formed somewhere on the surface of the reinforced concrete ring, then it must be covered with a cement mixture. After the mold is removed, the ring must remain on the shield for at least 5 days. During this period, the surface of concrete products must be periodically moistened.

Labeling and production process

Well rings made of concrete cannot be installed in areas with seismic activity of more than 8 points and in permafrost regions. Such difficult operating conditions require slightly different design and technical options and solutions.

Standard 10060 determines the requirements for frost resistance of the material. The required level of water resistance is reflected in the document 12730 . Deviations from the norms are allowed in minimal percentages and only for certain parameters.

Technological features of factory production

To produce a well ring, a professional concrete mixer, an automatic vibroform and a crane-beam, designed to work with loads weighing from 1 to 2 tons, are required.

A special concrete mixture is used as raw material. It includes:

  • fresh additive-free cement with a good rate of strength gain;
  • coarse sand with crushing of 2.0-2.3 microns (preferably without or with minimal presence of clay lumps and dust particles);
  • crushed stone fraction 5-10 mm, but not more than 5-20 mm;
  • process water without impurities;
  • superplasticizer.

All components in a certain proportion are placed in special equipment. It thoroughly kneads the composition, giving it a homogeneous, fluid consistency without lumps or clots.

Industrial concrete mixers are equipped with a three-phase motor, operate quickly, have high power and produce a large batch of concrete mixture in one cycle

At the next stage, reinforcement elements made of steel wire with a diameter of 8-12 mm are placed in the molding container (formwork). This frame gives the ring additional strength and provides good resistance to compression/tension during operation.

There are two vertical rods on opposite sides of the structure. They act as ears and facilitate the subsequent removal of the ring from the mold.

Then the prepared cement composition is poured inside the formwork and automatic vibration is activated. During the processing process, all voids are evenly filled, and the concrete acquires the necessary integrity and density.

After 24 hours, the product is removed from the vibroform and moved to an open area to stand. After a week, the ring acquires about 50% of its basic strength, and becomes fully usable after 28 days.

How are products labeled?

All reinforced concrete products are marked with an alphanumeric abbreviation generally accepted in the state. This allows you to quickly determine the size and scope of each individual element when purchasing.

Letter combinations are deciphered as follows:

  • KS– wall ring, available for placement in confined spaces;
  • KLK– module for creating drainage networks and local ones;
  • KO– fundamental support that ensures the stability of the well base;
  • KFC– fragments for arrangement of collector networks and drainage communications;
  • KVG– products for installing water wells and laying gas pipelines.

The numbers next to the letters indicate the height, thickness, specific gravity and internal diameter of the ring. Understanding these values, purchasing suitable reinforced concrete products will not be difficult.

Additional elements for wells

Regardless of the purpose of the well, it will not be possible to get by with rings alone during installation.

In order for the entire system to function correctly and not fail in the future, the following elements will certainly be needed:

  1. Base slabs(bottoms) - are placed at the base of the structure, level the base surface and give stability to the entire well shaft.
  2. Support floors– are a concrete circle with a hole closed by a standard manhole cover. They take on and evenly distribute the external load over the surface. They ensure the safety of the entire well and protect it from collapse and cracking.
  3. Additional rings– have a standard diameter, but less thickness. Designed to raise the current height of the well to a higher level.
  4. Well hatches(lids) – are produced in the shape of a regular circle. Depending on operating conditions, they are divided into sidewalk and highway. They are characterized by high strength and good resistance to intense loads.

The presence of additional accessories ensures complete tightness of the system, prevents the penetration of wastewater into the network, winter period protects pipes from freezing over time and extends the service life of communications.
