By the way, in methodological literature, an exercise is sometimes called a preliminary “arrangement of the mise-en-scène,” which, with the addition of words, becomes the actual game. In addition, finger games are:

  • a great way to distract your toddler from whims or tears;
  • a useful activity that is available anytime and anywhere (in the subway, on the bus, in line, etc.);
  • training in switching mental activity from the right hemisphere of the brain (creative) to the left (rational).

There are many different forms of nursery rhymes for training fine motor skills. But for preschoolers the most relevant are:
