There is a series of New Year holidays ahead, we will return to work on January 8th. But throughout these days, so that citizens and guests of the city do not feel inconvenienced, shops, pharmacies, bank branches, and transport will remain open.

Very soon, life in the country will come to a standstill for at least a week - the longest weekend of the year is coming, and everyone wants to take advantage of their right to rest. In this case, we have compiled a reminder of which organizations will work and how they will work during the New Year holidays. Schedules for the sale of alcohol and store openings, reception times at the traffic police and addresses of 24-hour pharmacies - you will find all this in our material.
The shops
Gulliver stores are open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on December 31, from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on January 1, and as usual from January 2 (from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.).
The Gulliver store on 50-let VLKSM Avenue, 2/45 is open 24 hours a day.
MTRK "Aquamall" is open on December 31 from 10 to 20 hours, on January 1 - a day off, from January 2 to 8 from 10 to 22 hours.

Alcohol sales
On December 31, January 1, 7 and 8, retail sales of strong alcohol (over 15% strength) will be available throughout the day will not, and from 23:00 the sale of any alcohol at all will be prohibited.
IN New Year holidays capital clinics will switch to a holiday duty schedule. Most adult emergency rooms will operate 24 hours a day. It will be possible to call a doctor at home, as well as go to on-duty pharmacies that dispense medications to beneficiaries, from nine to 16 hours.
During the holidays, children's clinics will operate according to the following schedule: December 30 - from 09:00 to 15:00; on December 31, only the doctor's home call service will operate from 09:00 to 14:00. From January 1 to January 8, only home assistance will be provided from nine to 16 hours, calls will be accepted until 16:00.
Emergency rooms of children's city clinics will be open from 08:00 to 22:00. 24-hour traumatological care for children will be provided at the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution "Research Institute of NDKhT DZM" (at the address: Bolshaya Polyanka Street, building 20) and the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution "DKGB named after Z.A. Bashyaleva DZM" (at the address: Geroev-Panfilovtsev Street, building 28). During the New Year holidays, milk distribution points will be open from 06:30 to 12:00. In addition, in one of the children's clinics in each district, from January 1 to January 8, from 09:00 to 15:00, specialist doctors (surgeon, neurologist, ophthalmologist, otorhinolaryngologist) will be available.

The duty units of dispensaries that provide psychiatric, drug addiction, anti-tuberculosis and oncological medical care will work on January 2 and 5 from 09:00 to 15:00.
Women's clinics will be open on December 30 from 09:00 to 18:00, on December 31 from 09:00 to 16:00, and from January 1 to 8 from 09:00 to 15:00. Ambulance and emergency care will operate as usual on holidays.
“My documents” and registry offices
The “My Documents” public service centers will be open on December 30 and 31 from 08:00 to 20:00. They have a day off on January 1, and from January 2 to 8 (inclusive) duty offices in each district will issue death registration documents during business hours. All other public service centers will return to their usual schedule on January 9.

Work of registry offices and wedding palaces
On December 30, registry offices and wedding palaces will be open from 09:00 to 19:00 (break from 14:00 to 15:00). They are closed on December 31, January 1 and 7, and certain registry offices are open on other holidays. From January 2 to 4, specialists will deal only with state registration of death, on January 5 and 6 - registration of births, deaths, as well as marriages (the latter at the Wedding Palace). On January 8, only births and deaths can be registered. The institutions will begin working according to their regular schedule on January 9.
Muscovites will be able to get married during the 2018 New Year holidays in two capital wedding palaces. Couples will be able to get married on January 5, and on January 6, on the eve of Christmas, marriages will be registered. They will be open from 09:00 to 18:00 with a break from 14:00 to 15:00.
Social service centers
Provide targeted social assistance citizens, as well as providing services to those in need at home throughout the entire holidays. The exception is January 1, 2 and 7.
On December 30, as well as January 3, 4, 5 and 8, social service centers, social assistance centers for families and children, and family and childhood support centers will join the Moscow Shift program. In addition, festive events will be held at Moscow social service centers.

Service centers "Moscow Transport"
On January 1 and 7, the centers on Staraya Basmannaya and 1905 Street will be closed. You can obtain permission from the Moscow Administrative Road Inspectorate (MADI) to return a towed vehicle at the following addresses:

The MADI reception office on Kalanchevskaya Street, building 49 will not receive citizens from December 30 to January 8.
Museums and zoo
From January 2 to January 7, citizens and guests of the capital will be able to visit more than 40 museums and exhibition halls subordinate to the Moscow Department of Culture for free. Among them are the Memorial Museum of Cosmonautics, the Darwin Museum, the Kolomenskoye Museum-Reserve and others. Most museums will close only on December 31 and January 1, and will operate as usual the rest of the time.
The main exhibitions of city museums will be available free of charge during the New Year holidays, but some events may remain paid. Some sites can only be visited by appointment. The schedule and operating hours of all sites can be found on their official websites.
The Moscow Zoo is open on December 31 from 09:00 to 15:00, and on other days from 09:00 to 17:00. Ticket office and entrance to the capital's zoo on the eve of the main event winter holiday will close at 14:00. After this, the zoo will be open only for exits.
City libraries and cultural centers
City libraries on December 31, January 1 and 7 will work according to a special schedule, which will later be published on their official websites, and on the remaining days - from 12:00 to 20:00. The same applies to the cultural centers of the capital.
