And how nice it is when you can knit almost any thing yourself. Boleros are now very firmly entrenched in fashion. Such a light cape goes with any dress, and if you decorate it with beads, you will get a unique thing. If a beginner is a little familiar with the specifics of working with knitting needles, then the article will cover the topic of how to knit a bolero with knitting needles; diagrams and descriptions are attached.

Knitting bolero

The bolero is easy to knit and looks simply chic. Knitting a bolero is an exciting activity for a woman, where she can show her individuality and creativity. Adult models look very beautiful on dresses and blouses, adding extravagance to the image. But not only mothers want to be beautiful, little daughters also love to be fashionable. Knitting a bolero for a girl with knitting needles is very easy and quick. For a little princess, such a gift will be the best; she will be fabulously beautiful in such a dress.

Knitting pattern

For such a delicate and small thing you will need very little thread, the color of which can be any, and number three knitting needles.

You need to knit a bolero from the back. To begin, make seventy-five stitches. You need to knit as many as three rows with purl stitches. From the very edge, step back four loops and knit with stockinette stitch. You need to add a loop six times in every eighth row. Knit until you get about fifteen centimeters. Now close off three loops on both sides twice from the very beginning of the row. This is necessary to create a small opening. We make the neck when the height is about twenty-seven centimeters. And you can get it like this: in the center you need to close thirty-eight loops. Next, each part is knitted separately. We do this for two rows. Now you need to close the neck: four loops on both sides along the edge. If everything was done correctly, then only twelve loops should remain, they also need to be closed.

The second part of the work is to create the right shelf. Just knit two loops with front loops for three rows, and then do the same with a wrong-side loop. Add fifteen stitches from the edge every other row. This should be done on the right side, retreating three loops. Then on every fourth row and on every second row five times a loop. Do it this way and left side. Knit six stitches for the armhole in purl rows to a height of fifteen centimeters, then one at a time, and lastly two. To create a neck, you need to close four loops on the right in the second row. There should be twelve loops left at a height of twenty-eight centimeters. This is how the left shelf is created.

To create sleeves, cast on sixty-six stitches onto a knitting needle and knit two rows on the wrong side, also with the face. Then three loops are closed on both sides, then two times three and twelve times in a loop. There should be twelve loops left, and they are also closed.

All parts of the bolero were made with great love for needlework. The cape remains to be connected. You need to start from the shoulders. Carefully connect all the parts, hide any irregularities. Fasten the sleeves. To prevent the cape from falling off, you need to come up with a tie. To do this, you need to cut threads fifty-five centimeters long, make six such threads. Gather three threads and create small knots at the ends. All that remains is to attach the ties to the resulting product.

As a result of such interesting and entertaining work, a wonderful bolero for a girl came out. The little fashionista will really treasure this gift!
