School Fair Ideas: How To Beautifully Wrap Cookies, Cake, Pie And Cupcakes. Gift wrapping for homemade biscuits How to wrap homemade biscuits as a gift

Now is the time when edible gifts no longer seem like something strange and people are happy to accept homemade cakes, sweets and just delicacies brought from vacation.

In this review, you can find your favorite, simple and beautiful way to pack these goodies.

The easiest way to make a small pleasant present with your own hands, in my opinion, is to bake cookies, pack them beautifully and give them. After all, cookies, in fact, do not need special forms and ingredients.

And I will gladly share with you the recipe for my favorite, delicious lazy cookie.

Ingredients:

We measure dry ingredients without a slide, freely pouring them into a measuring container with a spoon and without tamping.

We need 30 large cookies:

355 grams of flour;

156 grams of sugar (preferably grind in a processor);

1/4 tea tablespoons of salt;

226 grams of butter at room temperature;

2 tea spoons of vanilla essence;

2 table. tablespoons of cream cheese. Philadelphia, crême or regular, not very fatty cottage cheese will do.

Preparation:

1. Mix butter and sugar. Add salt, essence as desired. Then add cheese and gently add flour.

2. Mix everything until smooth.

3. Optionally, add chocolate, nuts, raisins or lemon zest to the dough.

4. Divide the dough into 2 parts, shape each part into a disk, wrap in foil and keep in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes.

The dough can be refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 weeks. Then defrost in the refrigerator.

5. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees.

6. Line 2 large baking sheets with parchment paper.

7. Roll out the dough about 5 mm thick, cut out cookies. We do not regret flour for sprinkling, it will not be felt later.

You can make cookies round, or you can cut thematic figures with cookie cutters for holiday gifts.

For Halloween:

For the new year

For birthday

Valentine's Day

8. Bake for about 10 minutes (it is better to check after 8 minutes, because the thin biscuits burn quickly).

9. Remove the finished cookies from the oven, cool and gently transfer with a spatula to a dish or packaging.

And now I will tell and show how to pack such cookies for goodies or other sweets.

Of course, the simplest thing is to just put it in a beautiful bag, and glue a nice ready-made sticker on top, or glue a small pike with colored decorative tape to decorate desserts.

The bag can be tied with a two-color cord several times, and glue (or attach to the cord itself) a piece of paper (or a ready-made tezhik) with handwritten text and the name of the person for whom it is all meant.

I also inserted a small flag in the middle (a ready-made pic for desserts).

Peaks come in a variety of colors, shapes, sizes, and different themes.

If there are a lot of cookies, then choose a larger bag in advance, in a transparent one it will be clearly visible at once what kind of gift it is. That is why he is good))!

Tie the bag with a beautiful ribbon, cord or lace braid and fasten some small decoration. In my case, these are cute flowers.

Also, a few cookies will look great in a craft box with a window.

Tie the box on top with decorative ribbons with different curly ornaments, cotton cords.

Pin a flower, lettering sticker, or handwritten wish sheet.

The emphasis on the box can be done both in the middle of the window and on the edge of the box - it will look equally good.

Another way of packaging is to present cookies in a colorful opaque bag, in which you can still keep the secret of the gift).

Such bags are already good in themselves because they are made in bright colors and can be used for children's gifts, for example, in a kindergarten. Due to the folding of the paper, they are quite voluminous.

On the first bag, I made colored flags and stuck them on a paper cord, which I secured with a stapler.

I fixed a flower of a suitable size on the side.

And in the middle I used, again, a sticker and made an inscription by hand.

I made the accent on the sticker with a marker.

On the other two I used lace, paper cord, flower and paper straws for drinks and stickers.

Close the bag with a sticker so that the cookies do not spill out.

General packing tips.

1. To begin with, if you are packing cookies, let them cool down, place them on a napkin to remove excess fat.

3. Think about whether you want to make this present personalized or with some kind of wish.

4. You can use ready-made mini-postcards, tags, stickers with inscriptions, as well as just cut out a piece of paper, sign or draw something.

5. You can also write directly on the packaging, as I did in one of the examples, using a permanent marker. In fact, if the marker is permanent, you can write with it on a regular plastic bag. You can draw a cyclical pattern, stars, circles, hearts.

6. The ribbon always adorns the packaging. It can be a regular lace, floss, paper ribbon, shabby, satin ribbon, waxed cord - whatever you have that suits the idea and color.

7. Stickers are very helpful, because even if you just close up the package with a beautiful sticker, it already takes on a special look, more cute.

8. If you have boxes of different sizes at home, it will not be difficult to pack an edible gift.

Thus, here is what I advise you to have at home in order to quickly turn cookies into a beautiful present for a child or an adult:

Paper or transparent sachets;

Boxes of different sizes, it is good if they have a transparent window;

Ribbons;

Laces;

Lace;

Various stickers;

Permanent marker or felt-tip pens;

Craft or plain paper;

I hope these tips will help you and give you inspiration!

Usually comes the next one - what to wrap it in. That is why we have collected a lot of options on how to make packaging for cakes, cookies, pies and cupcakes with our own hands.

How to pack a piece of cake or pie: packaging diagram

The situation is familiar: there is a cake or pie, and it needs to be transported in pieces to another place in some magical way. So much so that the baked goods do not turn into puree.

It turns out that this problem was solved a long time ago. Just print out the pie box diagram and cut out a piece of cardboard along it. Scheme - below (dotted line - bend, solid line - cut off).

How to pack cookies: packaging ideas

When it comes to packing large flat biscuits, you can simply use the envelope technique. Take a square sheet of paper or cardboard and just fold the corners towards the center, fixing with tape.

The second option, how you can pack cookies with your own hands, stylishly and elegantly, is to sew a suitable cover out of cardboard or paper. Although the picture shows a cookie packaged in a newspaper, it is not worth following this example - the ink that is transferred to food does not have the best effect on children's health.

Choose clean, unbleached paper for packaging. You can use heavy napkins or baking parchment. Cut out the cover to the shape you want, sew it around the edges with a sewing machine, or hand-sew it with one of the decorative stitches.

If you need to quickly and beautifully pack cookies for a school fair or for a gift, use regular paper bags. It is not necessary to buy them, it is quite possible to make such bags from craft paper or parchment for baking.

To prevent crumbling, we suggest packing small fragile cookies in boxes made of paper cups. To do this, cut a tight rim off the cups and make eight vertical cuts, as shown in the figure. Then place the cookies inside and fold the "petals" in turn.

How to pack your own muffins and cupcakes

Small muffins can be packed in cardboard egg trays. Stick on top of something fun so that the words "Eggs" are not visible, and you have a stylish muffin container.

You can also use plastic cups to pack muffins. Either place them as you see in the picture, or, if you have cups with a lid, put the cupcake on the lid, and cover the cupcake on top with the glass itself, like a dome.

If you are faced with the task of delivering a classic-shaped cupcake from point A to point B, we suggest making a box of cardboard with your own hands. You will see the diagram below. The main thing is that the glue with which you will glue the box does not come into contact with the baked goods: either replace it with paper clips / thread / glue far from the edges, or make an insert inside the box of tissue paper.

However, if you decide to bring pre-cut pieces of muffin to the school fair, try some cookie wrapping ideas.

Packaging for other products: jelly, popcorn, chips, fruits

If you decide to bring popcorn to the school fair (popcorn without spices is nothing to worry about for children - it's just corn), homemade vegetable chips, fruit or jelly, we offer you the following packaging options.

Paper or plastic containers, rolled and paper cones, skewers and ice cream sticks to string fruit pieces onto and make the child feel comfortable to eat.

CD Envelopes
Yes, simple paper CD sleeves with a transparent window .. They seem to be specially invented for gingerbread!
Transparent CD bags are fine too. Their disadvantage is that they do not hold their shape well. It can be easily eliminated by inserting a strip of cardboard cut to the exact width at the bottom of the bag. You can also put a New Year's card with congratulations in the same bag for cookies.

Washer basket from Whatman paper
For her, we need a sheet of Whatman paper in A3 format.
Cut out a square from it with a side of 297 mm (the length of the shorter side). We divide each side of the square by three and trace it along these marks, as if we were drawing a lattice for playing tic-tac-toe. Make folds along these lines, with the folds pointing down. Make diagonal folds on the four corner squares, these folds should be facing up.
Now we bring the bent corners to the center and use a needle to collect them on a strong thread. We tighten the thread, tie it, fasten the knot, cut off the excess thread. We decorate the junction of the corners with a ribbon or something else.
The basket is ready. You can put sweets, cookies or other small gifts in it, and decorate the outer sides with applique or drawings.

It is easy to make a cubic gift box from the same blank.
It's just that the corners-ears do not need to be brought to the center, but pressed from the inside to the walls and attached - glued with glue, tape or with a stapler.

Pencils, markers, markers
These stationery will help you to design our box or basket at no extra cost. Before the final assembly, we draw snowflakes, stars or Christmas trees on the sides, and write good wishes to the addressee.
Nowadays it is fashionable to stylize everything and everyone as "houses". Why not use this idea - drawing windows and doors is not at all difficult!

Stationery files
Any gift will look more advantageous if you wrap it in a transparent rustling film - lavsan. Instead, we can use the usual office file pockets. It is enough just to carefully cut off the strip intended for the binder, and we already have a ready-made gift bag in our hands.
The size of the package, by the way, is very practical. For example, our shopping basket will fit perfectly into it. Well, except that the corners in the center will have to be connected not end-to-end, but a little overlap.

If this bag is too big for your purposes, you can simply cut it into sheets and wrap small gifts like candy, tied with a ribbon.
